First off Velocity Sports has the best customer services in the business! If you want it they will bend over back words to make you happy. They have a way of making everyone feel like they are the most important customer in the world! You don't find that much in todays market! Now to the rig itself. I love the way mine fits. Most of the time I don't even know it is on it is so comfortable! The double wide leg straps give you the feeling of sitting in the harness as opposed to just hanging from it. Even with out chest rings that most people thing they need to have today. This rig never slips off my shoulders! Free fly friendly you ask? YES!!!!! With the secondary riser covers that extend all the way down the sides of the reserve container I never worry about them coming out. The main flap is the most secure I have ever seen. Even with a down tuck on the main flap it NEVER comes open in free fall! They have so many sizes of containers to choose from you can make a smart and sensible choice when picking the right reserve for you. Getting a reserve one or even two sizes bigger then your main is hardly ever a problem. Unlike some other manufactures that offer most of there containers with reserves trays smaller then the main. That's good if you only want to look cool. If you are more saftey conscious then you are worried about the cool factor this is the rig for you. Bottom line this is in my opinion the best Rig on the market hands down! Affordable, on time, safe, comfortable and customer service second to none!!!!!

Check out the next confirmation you get from RWS. They actually call it a promise date! I guess they aren't afraid to break a promise from time to time Dom

Hold your Breath! Dom

I just hope it saves a few headaches for people. Dom

Yeah, but those boys are so used to Black, Gold and OD Green that anything looks good to them! Dom
-
Agreed. The second part is key. Price it fair make it easy for them to buy it. Dom

I keep seeing it time and time again in the forums. People pissed off about the way that manufactures treat delivery dates. Why is stuff constantly late? Why can't they ever give us an accurate date? Let's forget for a minute that this really sucks and it just isn't right! Let's forget for a minute that in almost every other industry in the world this would not be tolerated. and it shows a bit of disrespect for the customer and the hard earned money they put down to buy for equipment. [sorry for the rant]. ALWAYS ASK your dealer when buying the equipment a few things. 1. What is the manufactures lead time? (what does the manufacture say it will be) 2. Ask them how long the last piece of equipment they got from that manufacture took to get to the customer. (this is a lot closer to the truth then what is on a manufacture web site). Then add 1 week to the second delivery time. I try and never qoute what the manufacutre tells me there time is. I always add a week to the last delivery we got. That usually keeps everybody happy. Kelly has gotta love all the attention he has been getting on here over the last few weeks. There customer service is the best! Comes from that small town Washington atmosphere. I have never had a customer walk away with a bad taste in their mouth from dealing with Velcocity Sports. That says a lot in an industry where the customers are so picky and individual about there gear. Keep it up guys! Just don't let Kelly drive your car or work on your clutch!! Dom

We ar all just different in what we like. I don't think the Soul Flyers Video is that great but a lot of people think it is the next best thing to air. IMHO the only thing worth watching in it, is the mountain swoop in the Wing Suit. I liked the Out of the Blue DVD and some hate it. Dom

We just got our first Icon container today. It took almost 8 weeks to the day. The canopies are faster then that right now. I still am seeing people on the DZ updating there Neptunes with new upgrades all the time. Not sure of they are just getting around to it or what. Seems like a bit of a hassle. I still like the Pro Track best. Although I would like to see them come out with one that is water proof as well. Dom

looks like OD Green to me on my screen. Dom

Not to many rigs that are that big look that good! VERY NICE! Dom

Reminds me of my last few minutes at Ft. Lewis. As I was walking out of my barracks door I decided that I didn't want to take anything that wasn't civilan with me as left the Army. I had my Class A's in a bag and all the rest of my issue in my duffel bag. I felt like I was going to another duty station or even a deployment with all that stuff. I just dropped it all in the middle of the hall way and never looked back. I did grab my Berret and medals though. There are times now when I wish I had kept all that stuff. I guess it was my way of closing that chapter of my life. Dom

Next time you jump it, look up under canopy. It should have the name right there at the leading edge of the center cell. See if it says Pilot or Solo. If it says Pilot then I am going to kick Aubrey's ass. I had a customer that wanted a Pilot 230 and he said the biggest they make is a 210 in the Pilot. He is right about the flat turns! They saved my ass on Sunday. Don't think I would have died but it would have hurt if I didn;t know how to do them. Other then the names of the canopies, it seems your instructors seem to be teaching you the important things. Dom

Red suit, 1 O'clock,in the base with the purple rig. Is that Tony? Dom
-
Shit, he just jumped it a few months ago. I have one that he wants to buy from me. It has two huge superman S's on it. Dom
-
Dude, there are many, more guys on this site that have had those experiences as well. Dom
-
Wow! did you have a moment of clarity? I hope I never have one of those. Dom
-
I know that I will be joining in on that Volcano with ya. Dom

Incomplete poll. Comando is the way to go. Just takes a bit more adjusting when you tighten up the leg straps. Plus if you are wearing shorts the breeze can be real nice on a hot sumer day. Dom

We have been getting weird ones like that at work as well. Dom

From my experience there is always more to be done. I still have most of my back to do. But the goal is to fill it up over time. I have a big Celtic Cross that goes up my spine and touches the shoulder blades. I just am taking my time finding stuff that will fit that theme. Plus, I have a spot for friends that have gone in. 6 sets of initials so far. I really don't want to have to sit for any more of those. Dom
-
Damn Marcus! I just got off the phone with you about your Go Fast cap. I know that shit hurt up on the neck. When I got my cross done on my back, I decided to that the spine was the worst pain I wanted to feel from a Tat and the neck was ruled out right away after that one. You da man just for putting up with the pain! You gonna stick with black for the shading or what? Dom

????? They don't make a Pilot that big. I think you actually are jumping a Solo. That is the student Hybrid version you have there. ZP on top F111 on the bottom. As you go to smaller canopies and start loading them more it gets easier to use the front risers. Good to see that you are trying to learn how to use them. Although I would still really focus on the basics right now at your stage. I would be worried more about learning flat turns and flying a proper landing pattern and accuracy right now then the front risers. Just be careful and play around way up high. Dom
