Whats worse is that atm scotland is getting probably the only good weather its gonna have this year and although im repeating myself I'm working!!!! Hmmm i did this about 2 weeks ago and whilst not knowing how efficient it is I can try and describe what I did cos I cant remeber all the names! K i was inside front dive exit, with an arm grip on the rear outside floater(?) and leg grip on the front outside floater(?) Thus as we came out I was facing 90 degrees to the line of flight. I worked continuously with my FS1 instructor whilst the other two guys just added on. So first move from here 1 2 3 4 The top left 1 is my instructor the 4 is me. Grips were my left arm to instructors left arm and my right arm to 2's left leg.3 Had my left leg in his left hand and 1's right hand had 3's left leg and 2 had 1 left leg in left hand. (hope this makes sence ). So first move I turn 30 degrees right and take up arm grips with 2 who faces me. 3 and 1 take up leg grips at 90 degrees to us. 3 1 4 >

I was talking to one of the british army CRW guys and he told me this whixh seems to work, sorry if teaching to suck eggs but I'm still relatively new here. If you find yourself down wind and not making much progress u release the toggles and grab a handful of front riser to get the canopy to cut through. If your way upwind leave the breaks stowed and rear riser the canopy, he said the idea of leaving the breaks stowed gave you more surface area at the back of the canopy for the wind to catch. He never mentioned anything about body position so sorry cant help there "If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough."

HMMMM well i took everything you all said and considered it carefully, and we talked again today. As it transpires she now admits she cant afford it and wants to go bacck to her dads... go figure!! So I'm now trying to find a way to keep the place on myself so I dont have to move back to base (given its a hole). My family has rallied and is trying to help until I get back to sea again in January and have the real cash to take on the mortgage myself. However, if i find the house is a gold mine then I may sell given the current market prices and just bite the bullet on living onboard.... only thing is I cant bring anyone home there should the opportunity ever arise. Think I might try and buy her out and get a solicitors letter which then says she no longer has a stake in the property although her name is on the mortgage, as |I dont think the bank would let me go alone on the mortgage atm until my pay goes up. hmmm decisions decisions, cos if we sell I then gotta pay storage for my stuff, Ill lose net access cos there isnt any on base in the cabins :(. LOL i aint been around long here but what a prat. I couldnt wait to get my FS1 so i could jump with other people. I learnt loads from jumping with a guy just off consols because we got to play around in the air together try stuff and smile at the end, everything helps right !!. It was a mutual decision because things were going from bad to worse, and we werent getting on asa couple and we decided together after a muchos long talk to call it quits before things got nasty and one or the other of us did something we might have regretted and fubar the whole situation. As it is atm all the accounts have been split again and the only money in the joint account is whats enough to pay all the bils and utilities and we split that 50/50. Says we got the place the way we want it together thus if she moves out so do I, but being in the Navy if I move out it means moving back on base... which really does not appeal.
