Icarus is just as likely to care and they might just have a little more leverage than an individual... possibly their copyright anyway... maybe.

What happens when you get caught cheating (graphic)

It's not an axe it's a mattock. And note that it's at least her second go - there's a second wound further up the forehead. I doubt the guy would be around if the thing hadn't got stuck. Woman needs to go away for a long while. -
She was. And convicted. And sentenced.

Aircraft you want to see at the WFFC

Seriously - go for vintage stuff. That's going to pull the crowds in and probably would for years to come. B17 Flying Fortress, B24 Liberator, B25 Mitchell something along those lines. Hell there's a trimotor JU52 that hangs out in Illinois isn't there as part of the CAF? http://www.greatlakeswing.org/JJuFacts.htm That's what the Germans used to dispatch paratroopers from in WWII. Do you have any contacts in the Confederate Air Force? Does anyone? I'd seriously try to come over simply for these kinds of planes. -
er, no - a .50 cal round. I joke with friends that I'll manually insert it into any burglar - much more macho than going to get one of my guns.

There's only one document in the Dead Sea Scrolls that has been linked to Christianity. That document is the fragment known as 7Q5. The only whole word this document contains is the Greek word "and" along with a number of other word-fragments. This for some is enough to link it to the gospel of Mark. The document was dated to between 30AD and 60AD. Again - after Christ. This represents the oldest Christian document (assuming that "and" really is from the gospel of Mark of course). It doesn't matter what other documents were there - they only support the content of the documents of which they are earlier copies. Their mere existence does not evidentially support the content of a separate document allegedly from 1000 BC which when translated purports to depict a crucifixion.

The Dead Sea scrolls (representing the oldest of all ancient scrolls even remotely related to Christianity) are dated to AD60. After Christ.

If I could pick countries to represent the US political spectrum I would say that the US middle ground is very similar to the majority view in the UK (noting of course that not everyone in the UK agrees with the majority – there are both extreme right and leftist groups as with most countries). The US left wing is most like France. The US right wing is most like Iran.
-
I think its important to distinguish between the UK though and the rest of Europe. The UK is way way right wing by comparison to the rest of Europe. France is way way left wing by comparison to the rest of Europe. The comforting thing recently is that the majority of Europe seems to be wanting to follow the lead of the UK. Theres a big internal struggle in the EU at the moment between the Anglo-Saxon capitalist model and the French socialist model. The Anglo-Saxon model is winning quite significantly.

Good job there's a system in place that allows for defendants to get lawyers so the comments above yours don't get to represent the entire view of judge and jury in a case like this.

What can we do about Skyride?

You'll have to ask the 'Senator' to comment on that. It would probably not be admitted into evidence in an English court though - it simply isn't reliable enough and would be inadmissible for hearsay. But this isn't before an English court. -

What does Islam's stance on women's lib have to do with anything? Is that the new reason of the month for why we invaded Iraq? To bring women the vote? Their women's rights may suck - but it's their country. Their country their rules. We've as much right medaling in their women's rights as they have in to tell us how many times a day we must prey. We can bring political and economic pressure to bare... but are you actually advocating going to war with every country who doesn't share our beliefs on women's lib??

My school was single sex only a few years before I went to it. Happily though the boys Grammar and Girls High school merged. I wouldn't like to think how my adolescent days would have been had I not gone to a co-ed school. Although I guess statistically kids do better when they are in single sex schools. Personally I think they'd be better with mixed sex schools, but hey. -
The state of our futures: World vs Muslim militants

I'm not an authority on US law, but that is exactly the opposite of what the text posted above by RhondaLea says. That text says that you get $750 or the actual damages suffered which ever is greater. If that is correct there is a legislative minimum payout built into the system of $750 even where the plaintiff can show no actual loss.

Funny that - that's the one thing here that people are actually defending. ie that it may not be nice, but they are fully entitled to run a very effective marketing scheme monopolizing the marketplace... it's just the lying and steeling that actually attracts the real scorn. -

Pretty well most places... except for America and a few Islamic states.
