I gotta be me. However in my defense, I never knowingly went out with a married woman. They only told me after the fact. OMG... what a slut!! Her, not you!!! Never been around a military base when the division is gone, have ya? Gotta become a damn investigator. Tan lines on the ring finger? Pictures of her and a guy that she claims is her brother/roommate? No job yet has a nice house? Years ago, someone down in Key West told me the Navy guys marry ugly women so no one will want to bone them while they're deployed. I always thought that was mean. When I was in the Navy they were called “WestPac Widows”. We would go down to Chula Vista to the Shit Kick’n bars and drive the diesels around the dance floor. If you were going on a WestPac cruse you leave 5 or 6 pairs of shoes and boots around the house to keep the Marines at bay. They would rather shine shoes the fuck. I first met John at the world meet in 1981. And you are right, he is no fool. Over the years I am sure he has developed one than one thought into a working example without ever planning on taking it to production. That’s just the way some minds work. Without some knowledge of the individuals you can’t make a call on who is the “better” jumper. I have jumped with newer jumpers that had less than half the jumps I had and could fly circles around me. But they didn’t know what color their reserve was or how to hook up their 3 rings without help. I have also been in the air with jumpers who had twice the time in the sport and couldn’t get out of their own way. On one hand the jumper with 500 in a year could be the next Dan BC or he will be just another nova passing through the sport. While the jumper with 500 in a 3 years could go on to be the next Airtwardo showing us the path to being around tomorrow. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
