If you really want to know, I'll be at C.C. Sunday and I'll show you on my rig. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Sure it can be let out if it was once taken in. But remember, that of all the gear and equipment you will acquire for skydiving, a jumpsuit is the one thing that can affect you flying the most. Don't skimp on this item. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

If a canopy was tied in a knot while attached to the container, it can be un-tied while it is attached to the container. This includes a step-thru a PC pull-thru or any other mess. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

In 1980 or 1981 I docked 8 th. on the first night 10 stack. That was before night crew was recognized. There is a picture of it in the Bombshelter at Perris. Spark The cameraman must have been using one hell-of-a flash to get a photo of a NIGHT 10-Stack... Just kidding... It was Norm Kent and you have seen the extension cord. Thats a bold statement. Does this mean that you know EVERYTHING about your gear? Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Master drawings never reach the production floor. Master drawings (to satisfy the FAA) contain so much detail that they baffle all but a handful of draftsmen and senior design engineers. It takes several weeks of "thinkology" to reduce master drawings to production patterns (i.e tin outlines that can be used on the cutting table). Since master drawings contain far too much detail, go-no-go checks for final inspectors have to be reduced to a handful of dimensions (ideally drawn on the final inspection table). The other point is that critical dimensions should be checked before an item moves on to the next step. In other words, an item is not allowed to move from station A to station B before an inspector has signed the paper "traveler" that accompanies every TSOed item along the producition line. ... and you have to repeatedly remind production staff not to sew on top of other people's mistakes. Like I said, this is a non-TSO'd item and all of the above would not apply. One person cut it out, sewed it together and QA'd it. (probably) "He/her may not have even seen the master drawings if there are any." Here again, I mentioned this to point out that are probably no master drawings. Lawsuits involving skydiving injuries/fatalities

You are right about that. Welcome to no fault tort law. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals -
Give to Amy to pack, tell her its a PD113R and then see what happens.

Now that is a scary looking group. Who is the dweeb on your left. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Cora, Try reading these 2 articles and see if that helps. I know there is a lot of chafe but they might give you the answers you are looking for. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Dacron is on the left, micro on the right. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

I'll give you 3 tries to pack a line over and if you can I'll pay for the repack. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Tom, If this is the case, you should not find a certificate number, seal symbol or a signature of a FAA rigger. It would not be legal for them to pack the rig. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

That would be my guess. It can take quite awhile to check them all out. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Since a kill line main P/C is a non TSO'd item the QA could be just about anything. It is more than likely that the guy/gal the sews it looks it over before pushing it across the table to shipping. He/her may not have even seen the master drawings if there are any. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Just so you will understand, I was referring to dogs and small children, not adults that act like children. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

If you are going to do something, do it with style. Whipped cream on a paper plate is no class. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

I believe I did take the thread in context. And you listed more than a few giving specifics and nature. In post 14 you state: Then you go on to say in post #21: Followed by post #22 where you list 5 more very specific items. I have already stated I am not defending the DZO. If you read some of the threads I have posted to I think you will find I am all for safety. But you seem to be very defensive when asked a simple question. Is there more to the story then what we have heard? There are usually 2 sides to every issue and we have only heard your side. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Hey Bro, Glad things worked out for you with gear. Don't forget to pass along to the next guy the help you received from others.
-
This sure as hell does not sound like hypothetical generalities to me. You are giving chapter and verse. It appears you may have a personal ax to grind in this deal. Is there more to this story that you are not telling us? Sparky No I am not defending the DZO, just wondering what the whole story is. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Charles, Thanks, learn something just about everytime I log on.

He is using an altimeter out of an aircraft panel and Bell RT helmet. Cool. And that does look like a Gun Camera. You had to wait until the next weekend to see the "film". Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

A drop zone is an adult’s playground. It is not a place for dogs or children. Nether one understands the importance of that pile of rags laying on the ground and are liable to do just about anything. I have seen dogs piss on everything for a canopy to an ice chest and once saw a kid take the hook knife out of a mud flap and cut half the line on a canopy before I could get to him. (no not my canopy). To other people your kids and dogs are not cute and fluffy, they are bothersome. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

I think that if done properly without screwing around it can be done safe.... It can and has been done safely. (see attachment) But not with a student and playing around with the drouge. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
