    MANUFACTURER ADVISORY: GQ advises the Finite Life of all GQ parachutes used for emergency purposes is 10 years from the date of manufacture.     One of the founders of RW and a member of the Arivn Good Guys, Lou Paproski died last Sat. 25 March 2006. Paul Gorman and Deke Dillon, also members of the Arvin Good Guys were with when he passed. And now it starts. The beginning of it all is starting to come to a close. RIP my friend.     PD does not make a 193 main in 7 cell or 9 cell. They have a 190 and 210 Spectre. I would suggest you go with a bigger reserve, maybe a PD-176R. Even then you are above what they recommend for your experience level. Why the rush to go small. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
