Thanks for the education! We're seeing a patient right now who has paraplegia from a spinal cyst. Unknown etiology. Although they're not a skydiver, I'm now more aware of what may have caused their condition. (they presented initially with complete quadriplegia, which finalized in paraplegia by the end of their acute stay). Interesting article. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

My niece went to a University in Australia back in 2003. They rewarded all students who maintained a 4.0 GPA a free, brand new, iBook.

Looks like B.C. addressed this issues raised on an earlier article. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB119577059712701370.html?mod=googlenews_wsj Thanks Dan for setting things in a more informed light. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Thanks for the history! You have an amazing staff, including an unbelievable FSDO office! I'm sure, after this, you've cemented your reputation with them and could ask for anything now. Kudos to your hard work and Marcus' beautiful cameraflying. He showcased Corey's skill beautifully. If any of you are in Perris, look me up. 's on me.

"Extreme Makeover, Home Edition" is one of my favorite tv shows. I try not to miss it on Sunday nights, after a weekend of jumping. Imagine my surprise when they introduced this weeks' builder! Corey Barton, who skysurfed into the show! A pretty good video, too. Stand-up, run out landing. Whatever DZ Corey's a member of, buy him a ! Congratulations on a job well done! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

He's pretty hillarious! I'm thinkin' this one should be made a sticky: "Titties and Beer"! Well, it's kind of the theme song of skydivers here, isn't it? Even has a bit for the women in the second half of the song... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

On Nightline (ABC) right now. http://abcnews.go.com/Nightline/story?id=3919672&page=1 Parasomnia. A very interesting malady that 4% of us are afflicted with. Ever wake up in the morning, not knowing how you got hurt during the night? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

It's been a consern across the nation for quite some time. This Article was written for the NY Times back in 2005[/url] Van Nuys, CA's answer to it June 2007. Home Depot's battle with the Feds. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Puzzle: Just how did he get through all that and not break down and laugh at himself. Great emotional control there! (I'd love to see the out-takes of that monologue!) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

$30,000 in debt and he was only able to afford -part- of Parvarotti's school before having to leave. He couldn't afford the rest, but the master asked that he sing for him again before leaving. His only other 'training' was in a children's choir when he was a boy. He was picked on by bullies when he was in school for 'being different', and his self esteem never recovered. Now, Happily married 4 years to a wonderful woman he first met on an internet chat room. Kept his carphone warehouse job, even after winning "Britain's Got Talent" because he -still- didn't believe in himself. Just took a 6 month leave to do the tour from the show. Just bought his album, "One Chance" and thoroughly enjoy it. To his credit, he's taking Simon's advice to "Never Change". IMO he's the genuine article. We don't get people like him to achieve their dream, humbly, very often. Hat's off to him and a standing "O".

Yes, I know about that article. Read it when it first came out and admired Bryan and those in his class. What I was referencing with the original post, was that this news source was trying to draw a parallel between his program and the Ski Patrol. Not gonna happen. They are two totall different beasts. Just goes to show, once again, that wuffo's really -don't- get what we're all about. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Interesting twist on the creation and need for wind tunnels to 'bolster our failing growth in skydiving' in this article. However, I'm thinking they perhaps twisted this bit on Bryan Burke a little bit further? Likening his 'skydive patrol' to be like the National Ski Patrol? Anyone have any clarification (from our end of it) on this article? http://online.wsj.com/article/SB119577059712701370.html?mod=googlenews_wsj ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Just thought of another very good movie, which I saw at a film festival back in the early 90's. It's a French movie (get the one with sub-titles, not the one that's been done with English voice-overs). Tatie Danielle. You'll never look at life the same way again after seeing this movie. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

They were made in NTSC as well. I had one (long since broken) and still have the owner's manual for it. HW Cool. Guess the web site I referenced need to be updated. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
