We had an IKEA store here in a nearby town, Fontana, oh about 20 years ago. Made a great little 'date-evening' stroll for college couples to start their dreaming of life after graduating.... However, the store was there just a tad premature and a few years later it closed! Wish it was still here, as the housing boom has literally taken over the place, as people spread out from the high cost of Los Angeles. IKEA would have made a MINT here if they had! My kitchen table and china hutch are from IKEA. Solid wood and beautiful. After so many years I still get comments about how nice they look.

Now THAT is funny! Lost my pet hamster back when I was about 10 years old. We were going on vacation and my parents didn't want to take the time to try and search for him. We got back, 2 weeks later , and found him in a large tupperware bucket under the sink. Dead. Guess they -do- like buckets... My parents didn't tell me until just a few years ago. Got the Scarecrow and enjoyed it scaring not only the neighborhood cats that came to poop on my front lawn, but also the neighbors who didn't know it was there the first couple of days. However, it seems to have changed its appeal this month (only 2 months after installing it). My next door neighbor (home to most of the surrounding cats) told me a story yesterday. Seems that 2 of her more curious cats have made a game out of the sprinkler... One sits just outside the perimeter of spray, while the other one walks up and sets it off. They take turns entertaining themselves. Guess, as they say, that's now $$ down the drain...

The plane was still docked there at 'Snore this past Sunday. We flew over it on take-off. Beautiful aircraft even from up top.

what about indoor-skydiving, also kown as the tunnel, you wuss.. Have you ever been in the tunnel when it's foggy outside? You get more soaked than when it's raining! While my stomach turns every time I look at this list of SkyRide-taking DZ's here, it's a bit of a comfort to know it's only 21 of the 274 U.S. Dropzones that they've cornered. Pulling cut-away cables fully out of the housings

On one of my 6 cutaways (spinning horizontal with a camera on my head) I didn't precede the pull by first peeling. Resulted in my losing altitude while I struggled to unmate the velcro from the other side. Luckily I'd pulled higher (being a cameraflyer) and discovered my error in enough spare altitude to peel, then punch. If your velcro's in good shape (as it always should be) you'll think you're getting a hard pull, when in fact you've just skipped a step. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Really? How so? When I was looking for a new car back in 2003 I looked forward to seeing the RX-8. It wasn't available when I needed to replace my totaled Mustang. Guess the Mazda didn't hold up to its hype? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Beautiful! How long was the wait between ordering and delivery? When they first came out it was a few months. Finally! He must have posted this tonight, as it wasn't there during the day. Thought the weather might be holding them up. Didn't know about Momentum's fire troubles, though. Hope they're okay! Looks like the Finals might be a wash. Guess tomorrow will tell. Anyone out there know how it's going down there in DeLand? According to Skyleague's News this is the NSL's Championship weekend, but their web page hasn't posted anything (yet).
