  1. VERY important when looking for purchasing something like this for a tandem operation---How long does it take to 'finalize' the finished product and burn the DVD? Some recorders take up to 30 minutes to do this task (after you finish dubbing the finished product). Others are as quick as 3 minutes. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  2. Here's a crude picture of my digital set-up on my BatRak. Sorry for the bad picture, but to get the 300D in the pic I had to use another video camera and do a video capture here in the dark. :^). Some of us get up before it's light outside... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  3. That's pretty funny! The 'Crack Cream', however is only made for cracked skin not your "crack". Faulty, misleading naming of a product! Who thinks up these things? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  4. Check this one out! Honest! It's a -real- pharamcy product! Your doctor can order it today! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  5. Man! I thought it was going to be an advertisement for THIS!!! It's an honest-to-god real product that we saw in a magazine at work today! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  6. They must have reworked the TRV22 dbox since you bought yours. I -just- picked mine up last night and it fits GREAT! No extra space front-to-back at all. And the side extra space is very neatly taken up fully by the leather hand bracket I left attached to the camera. Chris also puts a black foam strip in the dbox kit for those who want to take up the lateral space a different way than I did. That said, my new TRV22 fits very snug and non-movable in it's dbox nest. ...But, yeah...I didn't like discovering this last night when I put my new helmet with TRV22 together. Let me know if you find a plug that'll work so we don't have to remove the camera to dubb from. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  7. Viking? He made a pretty awesome #3 engine in the Lancaster Bomber, didn't he! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  8. Why buy any specialty items for this? Just use your regular vaccuum hose, a plastic trash bag, and walla....you have exactly what you want. No extra money spent. Works like a charm! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  9. I was at the Perris Wind Tunnel this evening and got a real fun show watching the FlyBoyz in action there. We all know that they're awesome freeflyers, yet in their first introduction to the tunnel they were alot more calculating and cautious in their moves. Alchemy, however, gave us a show with their over/unders and other moves together....! That learning curve is going to be awesome! It sure is small space in the tunnel when you compare it to the great outdoors... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  10. Interesting you should ask. I just sat down last night and re-watched my favorite episodes of Cheers. The last 2 weeks of the series they broadcast all the highest rated episodes and I copied them on tape for future viewing. I'd forgotten the exact end to the final episode...pretty nice writing. "Where everybody knows your name...." ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  11. The wind tunnels in both TN and NV (Las Vegas) have about as much appeal to a skydiver as chewing gum. Oh, sure, they're o.k. for wuffos and those who want to play, but don't plan on any kind of meaningful training at either place. You -do- wear a very large jumpsuit that takes away your manueverability, and the airflow is choppy, slow and shaped like a dome. Every skydiver's advice would be to spend your money at a location that will reap rewards in a more beneficial way. Check out SkyVenture. At this time they have operational facilities at both Florida and California...and more are on the way. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

    Man 1, Bank 0.

Thanks for the fun read. Yeah, it's LONG but well worth the time since I'm stuck here sick at home today. :^) Didn't like the 'final chapter', though. Kind of takes away all credibility the author steamed up from the beginning of the story. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  13. As what Greg said. Flat Top Pro is the way to go in the full face department. If you find something else that equals it, let us all know. I went on a search of my own last month and ended up buying the BatRak to replace my daBomb. It's not a full face (and I really wanted one) but the Flat Top Pro was just too big of a helmet for my small noggin. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

    Adkins Diet

So, how would a vegetarian go about succeeding at this diet? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  15. You took the words right out of my mouth, jdhill. I'll jump for fun, when it's all just fun. However, sometimes the sky is cold...or the winds are up...but they are ALWAYS within my safety limits if I go up. I won't go up for a fun jump, but 'work' can let me get a bit chilly...or make me work my canopy a bit more. It's always within my safety limits, though. ltdiver ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  16. Nice. Thanks for the heads-up. Ben sure looked proud! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  17. Looks like I missed it at 5. They say it will be rebroadcast on the 6:00 news. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  18. Sounds like a lot of fun!! Need a flying photo-journalist along?
  19. No matter what the law sees to punish Rush with, it looks like he's already done enough damage to himself already. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  20. Yeah, I knew this. I had just hoped, since I e-mailed the picture to her and she responded that it would be included in the upcoming issue. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  21. 'Cause I like the purdy light blue, sky blue color they came in. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  22. Wonder who's number you -were- signing...? btw, do they have the pics for the awards in the back this month? (I won't get my Dec. issue until New Years, I'm sure). I sent in a pic of my 24 hour freefall award. Is it there? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  23. Gonna be there. Yeah, both skybytch and mouth are gonna miss it this time! Who's gonna keep us entertained?! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  24. Well, these were people are my work who came up with the examples above. I've never worn my closing pin necklace there before, so they were all coming up to me and asking about it (curious buggers, aren't they! ). They're a very cool bunch, though, so when they ran out of guesses I told them. They were like, "Cool! How does it work? What is it made out of?". A couple of them have already done a tandem, so they were the ones who wished I'd brought my rig so they could uinderstand better. Did I mention that I love my job? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
