  4. Congratulations! I saw the post on the Aerodyne's web page and didn't know who the system had gone to. Glad it's one of 'our own' that's got it! Are they still jumping Goliath-378's with SOS rigs for student gear up in Snohomish? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  5. That's when I wave my arms randomly in the air like windshield wipers and say "See? I could be an orchestra conductor!" Then I stop and give 'em the "you ignorant dumbass" look. And walk away. They hate that. That's pretty funny. I'll have to try that next time! I usually give them a little smile like I've got a secret... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  6. Hey don't forget http://www.theworldteam.com/Tcamera.htm Whoo Hoo!! The Perris Gang of J.C. and O.B. are part of the cameraflyers! Two of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and wonderful at their craft, too.
  7. Yes, it is a very nice beer! Mine's from Bill and Amy, too!
  8. Along the lines of Poebe's guitar solos in the coffee house? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  9. Actually haven't tried it yet. I've been too busy with my other new toys these days!
  10. Thanks! :^) Finally upgraded to 3.03 with Panther. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  11. Two skydivers who call Perris their home. Paul and Polly. And I kind of like the blanked out background. It shows up just a bit more on the print, but gives a good contrast between subject and background. It takes the 'busy-ness' out of the picture that actually can detract. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  12. I have a good friend who is now a quadraplegic from a hard opening on his Sabre 150. New line set. Slider was open (not stowed) and packed correctly. He packed it, as he always did. He admitted to opening in a fast track, though. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  13. Yeah....well....you guys have the Awesome Mall of America to hang out in for days and days! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  14. http://bmj.bmjjournals.com/cgi/content/full/327/7429/1459 Excerpt from this article's conclusion! Geeze! Who wants to volunteer for their double blind study that includes a placebo?! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  15. Here ya go. Do you still want to buy me that drink? Found it on google. Not a country music fan, per se, anymore....but I just love the last line! ;^) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  16. What happened to all the beautiful green grass of Eloy?! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  17. What's PD's recommended wing loading for a Sabre-170? What is the maximum wing loading listed? PD's web site doesn't seem to have this information onboard anymore. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  18. Burrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!! Ooooo....Sucks to be in Ohio! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  19. I was supposed to have a plan? Oh, some lucky people have stumbled onto their life's dream, but it's rare indeed... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  20. Go ahead and hate your current job. I had one that I hated when I put myself through the last 2 years of high school....I worked in a redwood lawn furniture factory cutting fabric and stacking wood. What -that- job gave me (besides the $$ I needed to complete that phase of education) was both the respect for the people who'd worked there, tirelessly, for 30+ years to support their families....and incentive to get the hell outta there and get a very good college education so I, myself, wouldn't be stuck in a mundane job like that the rest of my life. At such a young age, you have to realize that what you decide -now- will shape your -entire- life. Think wisely of where you want to be in 40 years and set up a plan on how to get there. Take the steps -now-! ltdiver PS: I worked all through my 6 years of University education as well, to support -that- habit, too. Work that you don't like is o.k. as long as it gets you exactly where you want to be in the long run. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  21. Cool! Thanks for the link! The pictures from the boogie bring back good memories from last year. Anyone want to make a helicopter jump?!
  22. Don't worry. Some people see and smell the roses. Others see the thorns right away... Personally, I like "0" 'cause it looks completely at ease and genuine....loving life and the opportunities it presents. :^) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  23. We had a rule at our house, when I was growing up: If our parents dished our plate up we weren't required to eat it all. They might have misjudged our appetite. However, if we dished our -own- plate, then we HAD to clean our plate or else... (or else we had to eat it at the very next meal until done). Now....if I can't finish what's on my plate, Shimmie delights in a treat!
  24. What will they think of next?!? (Perhaps there are better uses for the little device than this?) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  25. This is the message I get when attempting to upload to the Photo Gallery. Note: I have logged in -at the gallery- and it recognizes it correctly. Then, selected a photo and clicked for it to upload. (It is less than the recommended 2MB in size.) Anyone else having this problem? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
