  1. I have one mounted on the z-bracket on the front of my Bonehead daBomb! And yes, the camera is mounted upside down and works just great! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  2. Drove down to Elsinore yesterday too see what was needed and how to lend a hand in the early stages of recovery. Took THESE pictures that even now are hard to comprehend. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  3. Nice to see that HH's identity is hidden once again! Nice legs!! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  4. See this thread entry ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  5. Depends on the brand of wide angle. They differ greatly from brand to brand. For instance...my Sony .6 has a wider view than my Kenko .5. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  6. Curious...why do you want to side mount a TRV? And yes, the CamEye works with the 22. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  7. Jan, Thanks for all the work you did today at Elsinore. It sure -was- a shock when we drove up and saw the devastation first hand. I shot alot of pictures and burned a CD for Lob right there. Hope he can use them in the investigation. Here is one of the views you commented on. I'll have some of the other pictures up on my web page hopefully tomorrow. It's teamwork like this that got the word out so quickly this morning. There were calls coming in left and right all day long. People reaching out to help and filling Elsinore with hope again. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  8. Then, that would be like our Sony TRV19 which -cannot- take video in. It only has video out. If you want to have both the 'in' and 'out' feature, you have to upgrade to the Sony TRV22. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  9. Wow....words are hard to come by when I woke up and read this thread this morning! Awful! I'm glad to know that everybody's safe, though, as -that- is the spirit of Elsinore....the people. It's like a family atmosphere there, which is hard to come by at a large DZ. I've been on the phone with my boss, Jim Wallace, who's already getting in line to lend a helping hand where he can. Whether it be in equipment or employing the instructors for the season. Let us know what we can do to help. We're all a community pulling together. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  10. Yes, that's her. I think she'd met the end of her teather when that mistake (on her part) was made. Too bad, she -could- have been a great leader. She's got mud all over her face now, though. Don't think she has any respect from the other ladies anymore. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  11. To say nothing of the fact that he ignored rule #1 in advertising...Meet -with- the client first and see where -they- want to go and be known by. Jason's a nice guy and has smarts in his young age. He just needs the maturity and foresight to go along with it. Now, the chicks in this flick....what's up with Omerosa? -She's- got the maturity and intelligence but is getting bowled over by the Italian's fire! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  12. So, how did you like the women's ad campaign?! Honestly, I'd like to hang that artwork up!

  14. You know, I have a few patients who went that route early in life. They now have the most awesome stories to tell! I could sit at their feet all day long and listen to their adventures. Kind of like living vicariously through them....it's intriguing. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  15. Currently have a B.S. and work in the field of physical therapy. If I had to do it over again, I would have continued with school and completed my DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) and gone into research for the neurologically challenged. I LOVE working with the accident victims that come through our rehab hospital, but would like to have alot more background into what's new on the horizon and be a part of bringing that into fruition. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  16. Last year one of the teams came up with a really cool bribe! They bought the judge a helicopter ride!
  17. I'm typing at you from my 12" PB that I bought as a Christmas gift to myself this year. Let me just say that I LOVE this new tool in my digital arsenal and although the 15" is very nice it isn't needed for my business or DZ video/photography work. The screen -is- 1024x768, and is very sharp. The 12" size doesn't bother me at all. In fact, the convenience of size and weight, along with the quality, is what made me choose this model. As for the smaller HD size...I special ordered my PB with an 80 GB HD and 768 MB of RAM. Oh,, and it's a 1 GHz processor. (memory can be upgraded to 1.25 GB of RAM!) Yeah, can you see I love my baby?! Only drawback is that is has a miniDVI plug that needs and adapter to play through into a RCA cabled TV. You can pick that adapter up from Apple's web site, as no retail store has one in stock (yet). This model PB is just too new. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  18. Sorry, the only thing I can think of is the back problems this airbag must have. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

  20. Interesting you should state this... I saw a bumper sticker that some children bought their mother (as a joke). It said, "Be nice to your kids...they'll choose your nursing home!". It was a big joke between that family, but I really wonder just how much truth there is to that statement. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  21. Oh, man! That even hurt to read! Damn kids! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  22. o.k. Feeling a bit punchy tonight. Riddle: "If it's a 50 mph wind, and you drive your car 50 mph downwind, if you stick your head out the window, do you feel the wind?" ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  23. Aaron Bros. (when the have the promo for buy one, get one for one cent). ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  24. Welcome to the frustration! I bought a used Sony TRV10 that came to me in perfect working order (they said).... The case looked immaculate, and it recorded and played back just fine (never use the audio plug in when recording skydiving anyway)... Then decided to use it for students. Ya know, the interview on the ground.... The camera recorded a distinct fluttering sound on the tape! It reproduced every time! So, sent it to a Sony authorized service center to fix it (recommended by a friend of mine....plus it was on Sony's web site as a repair station). They replaced the drum (said that was the problem). It took 3 months to get back to me! IT DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM!! Sent it back with the promise from them that they would expedite my camera's service this time. THEY'VE NOW HAD IT FOR SIX MONTHS!! I broke down and bought a TRV22 a few months ago and am going to file a claim against this repair station now. For those of you in the LA area....DO NOT SEND YOUR CAMERA TO "ELECTRONIC DESIGN AND SERVICE" in Glendale. [/rant done] ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
