  1. Kate! Glad to know you're o.k. and your humor's still intact (just read your blog entry from today on PerrisCam.
  2. Wow, Bill! You guys better get back in the air or Duffy will have you all singing and dancing with white lizzards soon! Thanks for the updates! Say hello to all the gang from our neck of the woods for me. Stay safe and bring home the prize!!
  3. Just remember that the quality of your product is what is remembered by those who view it later...and is thought to be the 'only' thing you do. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  4. Love your web page, David! Unfortunately, your Arles doesn't come in a Machintosh version. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  5. Now -that's- a scarey thought! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  6. I did a Level 3, 5, 4, and a 1 today...... at Elsinore. Think you might graduate some day soon? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  7. I had an A&P professor who deliberately bought and drove a Suburu for it's safety feature in front end collisions. The car would drop its engine and -not- shove it into the driver's compartment. He -also- went as far as to wear a helmet when driving, too. He made a point, but failed to convert any of his students to his safety practice... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  8. I don't think he went to Thailand, I'm pretty sure I saw him this past weekend My bad. You're right. What's he doing in FL? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  9. Yep, that's how the GK's did the first 1/2 of the block. Another team took a completely novel approach and flew the IC/OC piece at an almost side-by-side configuration (legs still locked together, too!). After seeing how nicely the GK's block flowed, the other way looked rather goofy! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

  11. It has to do with the person's picture -before- it is made into a dz.com avatar. If the picture itself is larger (but still within the dz.com posting specs), then it will be automatically resized -down- to fit the itty-bitty space where you see everyone's avatar the same size. But...when you click on it, it rebounds to it's original 'larger' size. However, if the clever poster makes it exactly the 'itty-bitty' size already...before uploading it...it will remain the same. Kapish? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  12. Yes, unless deploying at a safe altitude overrides... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  13. Nope, I think the Idiot King medal goes to the new car salesman who went with me on a test drive. We got all of 3 miles away when the car ran out of gas on the freeway onramp! It took >30 minutes for his staff back at the dealership to stop laughing and send someone out with a gallon of gas for the doomed car! Needless to say, I didn't buy a car there.... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  14. To say nothing of 'if you start flying camera too soon', you'll get 'stuck' in that discipline without the real ability to fly with anyone else when you just want to have plain ol' fun! Developing your RW, vRW, CReW, etc skills should be the primary focus -first-. Then, when you want to lay your camera helmet down you can STILL enjoy doing more than just solos! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  15. HERE ya go! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  16. HERE's a scarey one! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

  19. Yours enlarges just great! This is just right clicked into a new browser window.... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

  21. I'm sure you'll recognize THIS one. Compare it to the regular avitar. They're one and the same. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  22. Ummm....yeah... How'd you guess? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  23. Am I the first to notice this trick? If you put your mouse over someone's avitar picture, and they haven't shrunk it to exactly fit the little box you see in a profile, right click and open the file in a new window....the avitar opens in a new browser window and -walla-! It's back to it's original 'larger' form! About 50% of the ones I've tried so far have enlarged nicely. The other 1/2...well....remain small. Neat, huh!
  24. Huh? Did you read my clicky? The research is not new, but it is developing into a -real- potential treatment for the disease. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
