    Well yeah... but no proof of any direct collusion affecting the election, that was the whole point. Trump was known to do business deals all over the world, including Russia. What a complete shit show. More than 2 years of investigating and charging/convicting a bunch of people with shit that had nothing to do with collusion, and they still haven't found anything to directly link Trump? We'll see what the Mueller report says when it comes out, but I predict it's going to hurt the Democrats in 2020.

    It's a start. Pelosi for a long time stated she would not give Trump more than a dollar for the wall... Now the potential deal is $1.375 Billion. I'd sign it if I were him. Extend the existing walls out. We already spend what, $100 Billion a year, or more on food, healthcare and assistance to illegal aliens. It's ridiculous. They overload and abuse our system. I say get the wall built. Force immigrants through border checkpoints so they can be properly vetted. Trump already has options to reallocate funds from other budgets to get the wall funded if the deal doesn't give him enough.

    Name-calling? Where in my post did I do that? My point remains... those countries may be doing well. But it won't last. Just wait.... Venezuela was once the wealthiest South American country. Now its a shithole where people ended up eating their pets and inflation shot up to a million percent. Greece collapsed a few years ago and the European union had to bail them out, did they not? Nothing is free or guaranteed, except death and taxes.

    Kavanaugh didn't do shit. All of his accusers recanted their accusations, except the one who testified, who then went into hiding with her millions out of Gofundme. Yeah, she was full of shit. Trust me on this, if Fairfax was a Republican, all you Democrats and the MSM would be SCREAMING for his resignation. Northam too. So what has Trump done? Russian Collusion is looking like one giant hoax and witch hunt. Watch and see. The Democrats were soooo pissed that he won and are dead set on trying to make sure he can't win in 2020 that they'll do ANYTHING to assure that. And I bet Trump wins again.

    Ocasio-Cortez doesn't scare me. She's literally a dumb ass whose ideas are so far out of whack all I can do is laugh at them. Oh, and Ilhan Omar... Sometimes I wonder if she really thinks her comments through before spouting them. She decried the TSA agents not getting paid during the shutdown, but then advocates defunding Department of Homeland Security, which of course, TSA, the Secret Service, ICE and a whole bunch of other departments are a part of. Sounds to me like she wants full access to the border for all immigrants, including those with bad intentions.

    He's said to be considering the national emergency and reallocating funds etc, and have the Army Corps of Engineers build the barrier. You know, the wall is one of the campaign themes Trump ran on, and won the election. And it's amazing to see the continued stonewalling by the Democrats, especially Pelosi, refusing to give an inch on border wall funds. Never mind the fact there are videos of Pelosi and Schumer from 4-6 years ago saying we have to stop illegal immigration when Obama was in charge. The hate for Trump is palpable. That said, the next few days will be fun to watch, however it shakes down. In the meantime, I'll just thank myself that I don't have a non-essential government job.

    I wondered about that. I log in and the whole place has changed. Wait, what? I can see and enter everything? After a couple of years of just being able to access Bonfire, Gear and Rigging, and Incidents but nothing else... I'll try to appreciate the second chance, or however many it is.

    I really do think when all is said and done, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will have an encyclopedia full of weird and bizarre statements and claims she has said. Like recently when she claimed the world will end in 12 years because of global warming. As for her statement about government shutdowns not being normal, didn't Obama shut the government down 4 times during his 8 years, including once over his precious but deeply flawed Obamacare?

    I hear ya. When I first joined, the format of the forums overwhelmed me since I was used to the rec.skydiving newsgroup format as it appeared on AOL.COM, yes, I go waaaay back. I'm guessing it took me until rec.skydiving changed their format, that I hated what they did and gave this site another try, months later.
