Hey... The video didn't show the part where it crashes and the dad is beating the kid for destroying several hundred dollars worth of hobby. That's the best part. Almost as entertaining as me losing a bonehead helmet and pro-track. No really it hurt.

I remeber being 16 or 17 and I was at a party. There was this older guy he was like 30 that crashed it. He had one of the girls in the corner and he was pawing at her. She was telling him to leave her alone but no one at the party was doing anything about it. I had a few beers in me and decided I was going to save the day. I remeber walking up behind him with something in my had and I was going to whack him over the head with it. I got right up to him and he turn and stuck a gun in my face. I think it was a 38. It was a smaller revolver anyway. At that moment I would have done anything to be out of that situation. My attitude chaged from macho kick ass guy to get me the fuck outta here dude. Someone had drew his attention from me and I quicly departed. I gott tell you... That was minor compared to what some of these hostages are facing. I'm a little more mature and my reasoning is different but when it all comes down to it I think I would do anything to keep myself alive unless it put others in harm.

Although I had never listened to his show I have heard recordings made by Joy Divsion which were made during the Peel sessions. Quite a legendary man in his industry.

Excel is a great camp. I went to almost everyone. Not sure when the camp is going to fire up again.

Yeah since I was grounded I asked Betsy if she needed any help. She told me parkig was going to get out of hand and I could tell folks to park in the lots across the street and on the side next to the DZ but not on that one curb. For whatever reason she said they would get into trouble. Well easy enough I thought. Man people we getting ticked. LOL Parking filled up fast. I understand the fustration but man I thought that was uncool to be taking it out on me. Most people were pretty nice tho and were offering water and food thru out the day.

Speaking of rocks... Thanks to all the special people that gave me a hard time about not being able to park on the curb. The pelting of rocks as you stomped on the gas was a real treat. For you other folks that came out and offered to get me stuff that was real nice and appreciated. It was fun but man... Those martinis on friday night did me in. Really nice to meet so many new folk and see old friends. I'm on the wagon with pop for the next 30 days.

I'm reading the lastest hostage story. The have a photo of this woman crying and saying how she's pleading for her life on this video tape. Most likely the damands won't be met and something tragic may happen to her as it has happened in the recent past. Knowing that your country has a no negotiation policy as far as hostages would you still plead for your life on video? I'm not sure what I would do. I think I may just plead like everyone else. I can pull the macho ego stuff and say I wouldn't give them the satisfaction but I think with nothing to lose I would be begging.

Lighten up Frances. I caught hell like a lot of other people. It was what it was. Hot wheel tracks, hair brushes, belts, wooden sppons and all the rest. Not saying it was right but it certainally wasn't uncommon. Being a Parent is tough and most of them did they best they could. Sometimes they fell short. I don't think my parents loved me any less than a parent that didn't hit their child.

No not the stepdad. I'm worse. I'm the mom's boyfriend. I stay out of their disputes but lastnight I felt Amy was being threatened and her son was getting out of hand. He was screaming at the top of his lungs at her and hands were waving everywhere. All I did was step between them and tell him to calm down. That's when I got "you're not my father!" Geeesh.... Like I really want that job.

Now I'm starting to sound like an old cat. After surviving many years without kids in my life I find myself in the same household with a 16 year old kid. Man payback is a bitch and now I know what the hell my parents were talking about. I got his off of ebay. It's the "B-52's ANTHOLOGY "NUDE ON THE MOON" (Autographed)" I attached a photo. I'm having difficulty figuring out how to display it with my other goodies. The rest of my stuff are prints so that was pretty easy. I want to wall mount this framed like a print but have never done CDs before. It consist of an 8x10 photo and a double CD set with a little book that is the same size as the CD case. The cases aren't the plastic ones that you could just slide the cover art out of. It's like thick cardboard with the print and signatures on it and the plastic part inside appears glued to it. Suggestions? I'm thinking of just taking it to Michael's and having them figure it out but I wanted some ideas. Blues Ed
