  1. Good Stuff. Spent Saturday doing some informal coached 4 way some jumps had video. It wasn't supposed to officially strat until 4 pm that night with seminars and dinner. Then Sunday 5 coached jumps with Video. Satuday I got in 3 jumps all coached but due to the turnout we were able to jump with a variety of differnet folks. All good stuff. At 4 pm the Seminar took place with Mel Curtis, Lou, Erin, and John Hamilton. They covered a lot of points about forming a team, goals, expecations, commitment, the traits of the different slots, the hows, and the whys of 4 way competition. A lot of topics where discussed and covered very well. We were scheduled to meet at 7:45 am on Sunday morning to do a team stretch and schedule our day. I think were were going to run through the day just as a 4 way team would during a routine practice day. Walkthroughs, dirt dives, debriefing and so on. Unfourtunately weather didn't permit us to complete the socal on Sunday. (Can you belive it was fricking snowing in Lake Elsinore). There was about a dozen participants. Mel Curtis Said shw was going to schedule a "Rain Day" soon so we could complete the camp. Anyone that is interested in 4 way I really think should look into attending. I would suggest emailing Mel Curtis at Skydive Elsinore if you are interested. I think her email address is on the website but I think she also has an account here on Dropzone.com Good stuff guys. Blues, Ed
  2. It may be possible to get and LKQ (used) with a 12 month warranty for less than $1k then the labor for the install. It may save you about a grand. I dunno if that helps. Sorry, I've got no resources in Michigan.
  3. Depending on make model and age of vehicle there may be a less expensive alternative to replacing your tranmission. How about some details.
  4. Status? LOL C'mon I'm hooked. I'm looking for a happy ending.
  5. Man... you know you career has hit rock bottom when that happens. They're playing at Woody's Cocky Bull tonight. They are limiting the crowd to 150. Last word was they hadn't sold out yet.
  6. Aww.. dude. I didn't even see your post. Credit the man in the white hat. I think it just might be adjustment of the switch is all.
  7. it sounds like your brake light switch is has a short in it or it just may need adjustment. This would also affect the cruise control I believe. It's fairly inexpensive to replace. some place like pep boys should have it. They could also replace it for you on the cheap.
  8. Ow Zenister! You just broke my fucking brain. Looks like something Wile E. Coyote dreamed up.
  9. I checked it out. Fricking cool. LOL
  10. It used to be that simple. I have several different systems I need to log into and it tells me that my new password is so many percent identical to the old password and can't be used. Frick... You'd think I worked for the CIA.
  11. At one time I thought I had a pretty good system. It was a certain football team's year with players names and numbers. It worked on some places and not on others. Now I have so many different accounts and passwords I can't remember them all. Can I list them all somwhere then password protect that file so I can have access to my passwords. Or is there a better way to do this?
  12. My son had his first ever laughing fit yesterday. He shit all over me Saturday. I love him. http://www.plannedparenthood.org/bc/allaboutvas.htm#1
  13. I don't know how you guys do it. I'm at the mall the other day sitting on a bench. This older woman sits next to me and she has a younger woman in a wheelchair with her. This younger girl is pretty disabled. Movement is very limited simillar to Stephen Hawking. Smiles a lot tho. The mom puts a staw in a bottle of OJ and holds it for the girl while she sips it. It's coming out of her mouth and spilling all over the place. They are smiling and laughing with each other. The mom kisses the girl on the hand. She cleans her up and they go off smiling and happy. The patience and love I witnessed was very touching. I can't say I practice that a lot in my life. I wish I did sometimes. I better go watch pulp fiction before I get all teary. Take care peeps, Ed

  17. We did meet already. LOL I was the guy at chicks rock with the broken collarbone. Darcy's friend and the guy that was sitting in the driveway helping with the parking.
  18. Hmmm.... Just have to get out of the box. Easier said than done. I'm right there with you. Something like the excel camp at elsinore can really help. You get paired up with differnt people all day. So you meet new people but you also meet others through the people you just met. Something like I networking situation evolves. Bridge the gap was a great event also to meet new people. There is a 4 way social on the 20th. Go to their website and check it out. I think there is a dinner the night before with some sort of seminar and the next day you get paired up for some 4 way jumps.
