I am wondering what constitutes "blocks" for most people... my blocks are in reality 5 thicknesses of type 4 webbing (i.e. toggle material) sewn to the riser... it is really not much of a block, just something to keep my hands from slipping down the riser... not really any bulk to them at all... the Korean hooker is not very bulky either.... __________________________________________________ What would Vic Mackey do?

I think they are OK since they come from RI, so they were built by a reputable place.... just don't like 'em from the standpoint of the cable getting sucked through the grommet.... however, I figure I can live with them (haha) till I get my RWS set since if I have an opening hard enough to suck in the cables, my neck will probably break anyway.... __________________________________________________ What would Vic Mackey do?

The broken needle bit hashed the shit out of my riser. Hey... take it easy buddy! I am totally environment friendly. I used to skydive at Skydive Monterey Bay a lot. The ocean and all it's creatures are beautiful. I used to look out at the bay from altitude and marvel at so much water, so much unseen life, such a fabulous machine that nature cooked up. The sunsets were SO beautiful too. In the spring, the water would look absolutely orange-red, as the sun slipped below the waves, reflecting off the water and the blood of the seals we had just clubbed.... __________________________________________________ What would Vic Mackey do?

I live in CA. why would I take $.05 from my own pocket and wing it at 'em when I can chuck much larger items (thereby increasing the hit ratio) at them for free. Also, the larger and more massive cans have sort of a "proximity" effect where the larger splash / disturbance to the water kind of makes a near miss a kill. seriously, it is truly awful. you can only put like 10 sheets in at a time and the middle hole gets stuck in the punch all the time. the only consolation is that our building is on this lagoon, which has jellyfish in it. you can go out on this patio right over the water and watch them pulse and swim around. it is very satisfying when you nail one with a coke can. __________________________________________________ What would Vic Mackey do?

my .02 When I got my velocity I had some crappy line twist experiences (i.e. kicking out of them while sniveling, feeling (and seeing) the thing twist and then untwist completely by itself over my head, etc... adopted the short stow technique outlined below (my stows are now doublestowed large bands, 1" bites) and doing the birdman "line stows against backpad" thing.... no twists since. I don't care too much about heading performance as I am a good tracker. however, the snivelyness and the snaking really bugs me and makes me re-think it's use for video. I may try a smaller slider and see how it works... __________________________________________________ What would Vic Mackey do?

Aiight, here is a new one... again, if you know the answer, please keep it to yerself. There is a guy. He lives at the top floor of a 100 story building (I guess he is rich). Every day, he gets up to go to work and rides the elevator down. He can ride the elevator all by himself going down. However, when he gets home from work, he can only ride the elevator all the way up to 100 if someone else gets in the elevator with him at the lobby. Otherwise, he has to get out at 50 and use the stairs for the rest.... why? yes/no questions __________________________________________________ What would Vic Mackey do?
