  1. http://www.woolythinking.com/html/darkroomIE.html?o=0o this thing is like MOTAS or the vermillion room, etc but its really difficult because i can't figure out what you are supposed to do with the puzzles. any of you figure this thing out? I think i solved the yellow puzzle. And i was able to find the red and orange puzzles, but don't know how to solve em. MB 3528, RB 1182
  2. if you don't have a bite on you, then it couldn't have given you rabies. check yourself, and if you are bite free just let it go. the bat is probably slowly dieing in that bucket... frankly IMO either kill it quickly or let it go. don't make it suffer. MB 3528, RB 1182
  3. just use velcro gloves, then they can't wiggle free MB 3528, RB 1182
  4. simple, after eating the hot dogs, pour the boiled beer into a glass with ice and you got special hotdog flavored beer just like grandma used to make. well its gotta taste better than bud light MB 3528, RB 1182
  5. get HijackThis its free MB 3528, RB 1182
  6. especially get hijack this, its complicated, but VERY GOOD. then run it, and post the results... i can understand some of it, but im sure some of the supergeeks can help you find everything weird on your computer MB 3528, RB 1182
  7. you've never heard of this? its the nigerian scam basically. they send you a check worth much more then whatever they are buying... you are supposed to cash it, and send the remander of the money back to them... the only problem is that 2 or 3 weeks later the bank discovers their check was a fake, and will not give you the money, so you just sent several thousands of your own money to the scammer... along with whatever you were selling. 8. or since hes already halfway to the goal, just bump his thread occasionally until he hits the grand. btw phillykev its a great idea. MB 3528, RB 1182
  9. yeah is there any way that people know this ahead of time? It can't be that big of a secret right? (PM me what you know!) MB 3528, RB 1182
  10. Just wondering if anyone had them and could answer a few questions for me... Do they come with the zip off legs thing to turn them into shorts or not? Do they work well for sitfly and general belly stuff? (I don't do headdown) Do the cargo pockets stay closed in freefall? Were they worth the money? yes, i emailed them a few days ago and haven't gotten anything back yet, probably won't get any info from them till after new year. and if they sound good from you all, i would like to order them before then. 11. I saw a news article about it... they dug a large pit with a bulldozer, and the indians lined up with their dead and each put the body in, and the bulldozer would push some sand over it. Its kinda sad because each family got maybe 10 seconds to grieve at the grave before having to move for the next family. MB 3528, RB 1182
  12. yeah i knew about that before this happened. I think i read it somewhere. I was really surprised that the natives in these countries saw the water level going down and they all ran out to the shore to see what was going on... I thought surely if you live in tsunami country you know what that means but i guess not. MB 3528, RB 1182
  13. how do you not catch a face load with the passenger realesing them? just telling them to do it at arms length? MB 3528, RB 1182
  14. simple... they found all those porno flyers already in the vault... turns out benedict had a fetish for porno flyers and kept a whole bunch in his vault. EDIT ah just thought about it some more... it really is plausible... the flyers in the van were already in the van before they put in the bags... the bags were folded in the bottom of the chinese guys box thing, and they had some small weights in them to feel heavy. then the robbers puffed up the bags to look full, and put them in the elevator empty. the flyers were placed under the lining of the van interior, along with some high explosive, so when it exploded, flyers were sent everywhere. the flyers that were in the vault when it exploded were brought in by the SWAT team. ok so it doesn't really make sense, but it IS quite possible. 15. its a pretty cool trick... too bad its not all that meets the eye. MB 3528, RB 1182
  16. our DZ does static line, and we always have the students sitting with back to the instrument panel... it makes the climbout easier for them, as they can just swing their feet out, then grab strut and swing their body out... if they are kneeling, facing the prop, they have to reach out and expose a lot of their body into the prop blast to grab the strut... i would be afraid a lot of first jumpers would slip off. also, it is much easier for the instructor to spot when they are kneeling facing the front, then facing the tail IMO. The C.G. concern after the first student exits is valid, but we have never (as far as I know) had a problem with it... i will have to talk to our pilot about this... normally we move the second student up as soon as we can. 17. at around 160 jumps we decided a innertube jump out of a cessna would be a good idea we used duct tape to put handles on it, of course the handles break as me and a friend are above it, it flies past us by about 3 feet maybe doing 30 mph... it woulda knocked us out cold. then one of my slip on sleeves slide off onto my pull hand, and it takes me till 2000 to get it off and pull. We are so far off from the DZ that i can't see the wind flag, so stupidly i decide to just pick a direction... turns out i choose downwind in about 20/25 mph winds. its such a terrible tumbling landing that one of the jumpers in the air thinks I must be unconcious and they come back in a truck and start checking ditches for my body. luckily all i did was bruise myself up rather well and couldn't jump for a week or two. 23. was the George Lazenby that guy who played bond once in that really terrible bond movie? they never show it on tv, and i've only seen the end of it. bond gets married (wtf?!?) then the villians do a drive by on his bride, and kills her with a headshot. then bond tells the others that she isn't really dead, just resting. and the movie ends that way MB 3528, RB 1182
