why is the weather the coldest in January? Dec 21st is the shortest day of the year, so I assume the ground gets the least amount of warmth. So why isn't Dec 21st the coldest day of the year? Same with June 21st... it usually gets the hottest in July or August... shouldn't it be the hottest on june 21st? MB 3528, RB 1182

I just got mine relined through aerodyne. Its $225 for relining and shipping back. It took them about 2 weeks MB 3528, RB 1182

they appear to be P90s or even FAMAS. Bascially a french made assault rifle or submachine gun. P90s fire a strange caliber... 5.7 by 30mm or something like that. FAMAS fires 5.56 nato but with an extremely high ROF, something like 1300 RPM MB 3528, RB 1182

Couch freaks is very fun. Its a lot more party orienented than WFFC, and a lot cheaper. Its not as spread out as WFFC, which is nicer for walking, but worse for landing. The only thing i didn't like about Couch Freaks was the load organising. It was basically nonexistant. I just ended up doing 3 or 4 way stuff with my normal DZ buddies and you don't need to jump to have fun there. a girl from my DZ didn't jump and had a blast (this was tower girl for all you who were there) MB 3528, RB 1182

to keep your face from getting frostbite, you have to get blood into it. So after you open, or even in freefall, excercise your face. Smile, frown, grimace, etc. It should get the blood going to your skin, which warms it up. anyways it can't hurt. MB 3528, RB 1182

do what other people on here have suggested. buy it, keep it in good shape while using it, getting the cypres checks or whatever, and sell it back to him if he wants it when he gets out. if he buys it back, he gets a good price and its been nicely maintained. Especially if it has a cypres, as now he won't have to pay for its checks or batteries. if he doesn't want it back, you get a great deal. MB 3528, RB 1182 -
