Well, I only posted two. Feel free. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 -

And if he does get mugged, he will regret not buying one. And they are less expensive than a CYPRES. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 -

And yet people get murdered all the time. I have never needed a Cypres, but it makes sense to own one. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 -
Why do you feel the need to comment on them? No, but I am glad we have the right to defend ourselves.... Concentration camps would not have done very well if Jew were allowed to be armed. Glad for you, I love my peaceful American life.... and I value life and respect the rights of citizens to defend their lives. You would rather the guy get stabbed to death . As are yours. Your posting history is quite clear.... you make opinions, imply information... and when proven to be full of crap you start throwing strawmen. Again, your history is there for all to see. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 -

You would know...since it seems to be your favorite tactic. No, that is called an opinion. Also, you do remember he was found guilty in the civil trial right? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 -
1. They will not remember. They have enough stuff on their plates. 2. Some people ignore advice they don't like anyway. If people actually listened, the number of people that hook in would be much less. 3. Some of the people who chat up our students are either: a) Just trying to help. b) Just trying to get laid. In both cases the chatter does not see any harm. I bet most people are not so stupid as to do something that they think might cause a problem. Most cases they don't realize they are a hindrance. Just like you distract to prevent from admitting you were wrong. On the contrary.... I found so much that I realize that you just continue to ignore the facts when it suits you. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

But it does mean you can't be assumed guilty... No matter what Kallend says. Fact is she was "law abiding" as far as anyone knows and will remain "law abiding" till proven guilty by a jury. In your world you may want to do otherwise, but here in the US things work differently. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 -

Yes. You can even have been found guilty and get your rights restored. http://licgweb.doacs.state.fl.us/firearms/felony_conviction.html A felony arrest can suspend your right till the issue has been resolved. But once found not guilty you can get a CWP... It will involve some more paperwork. An adjudication of guilt withheld, or a suspended sentence on any felony does automatically stop you. After three years (currently there is a bill in the FL house that is being proposed to make it 5 years) you can normally get a CWP in FL. Once again you show the best you can do is try to distract when you can act with facts. Even Kelpdiver called it with, "You know the drill, Ron. He stepped on his dick, got caught, and is now frantically denying his zipper was even open. " Maybe not in THAT post, but you have a clear history that shows your position over and over. Again, the best you seem able to do is to try and make it personal. Childish. Offensive, aren't you? You still provided it to THIS conversation. Lame attempts at a strawman aside, you still cannot prove any correlation. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Please read this section again: I know you like to think certain people are guilty till you say otherwise, but the legal system says otherwise and the background check confirms that. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 -

Data you provided. Even with a 10% increase in crime.... Gun ownership has gone up MUCH more than that. So you can cherry pick the data, and massage the numbers all you want, but your position is not supported no matter what you do.... And you honestly know it but do not want to admit your position is emotional and not based in facts. No, it is only irrational to apply YOUR sensibilities on OTHERS purchases. I have not flown a plane in over a year... Does that mean me getting a pilots license was a waste? Edit to answer: States that have CHL/CWP have lower crime rates than States without. So it seems it DOES reduce crime. Areas with gun bans have seen an increase in gun crime. The rate of gun ownership has increased three fold in those years, yet the rate of increase in violence has only gone up by 0.5% according to John. Much more likely that things like population density and drug use have influenced the numbers more than just number of guns. 2/3rds of deaths by guns are suicides and drug related. People who are going to commit suicide will do it anyway, and criminals are not allowed to have guns already.
