Good thing for you that most "law abiding individual's" are not going to shoot you. Statistics clearly show that people with CHL/CWP are MORE law abiding than society as a whole. Plus you seem to be ignoring that gun ownership is UP MORE THAN EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE US, and crime rates are DOWN. So once again, the data does not support your position. (And the references have already been provided) "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

No, because I don't listen to him since I think using stupid names is a childish action. You are not stupid.... If you would just stop the BS stuff like this you might be really fun to talk to. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

You did in fact do all of the things I claimed you did. Saying you didn't does not change history. That says more about you than anything else. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

That's not the question I asked..... Please try again. "Are these LESS of a loss of freedom?" Having a gun also makes it easier to defend against a guy that has a gun. Can you show me where the Constitution talks about full sized scissors? Besides... I don't honestly have a problem with certain places not being allowed to have guns.... As long as EVERY individual has to pass through a metal detector, everything is Xrayed, and there is an armed security force capable to stop an attacker. Airports, jails, and courthouses are examples. I don't LIKE it, but I think if you are going to disarm citizens, then you need to take extra steps to ensure that the criminals are also not armed. I have a Silver medals from this year in 10 way and 16 way that say different But yes.... you are MUCH more experienced in big ways and big way protocols than me and I am glad you agree to those points. I jump a ST107 with a 1.7WL for everything I do. I have over 3k jumps on a ST107 and I own 2 of them. I can understand how some think a slower canopy is a good idea.... But I'd rather you fly the canopy you REALLY KNOW and tune your flying back. If everyone deployed and continued out from the center till they were sure the airspace is clear. If they keep their head on a swivel and not only look around but SEE around them. If people on big canopy's didn't spiral down to try and land first and people on small canopy's don't try to float forever to swoop last.... If people just learned how and had the discipline to build stacks and learn to land in the correct order.... There would be very few problems. Is it any better to be stabbed to death? Or beaten to death with a bat? Are these LESS of a loss of freedom? Getting blown up by some guy that say's he is "building rockets" is an ultimate loss of freedom as well. Having some guy fly his plane into a building is an ultimate loss of freedom as well.... Yet you bitch about ANY intrusion onto these rights. Funny, huh? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Which shocks me some.... You of all people I would think would support the right of the individual to choose what they want. I always thought you were for more individual freedom, not less. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Well.....#1 the article does not say that anywhere. It says THOSE guns are off the street. But, this report say's that crime rates are DOWN http://www.fbi.gov/ucr/2009prelimsem/index.html AND The number of national instant check transactions rose 24.5 percent in the first six months of 2009 compared to the first six months in 2008, the greatest increase since NICS' inception in 1998. Through the end of October, NICS transactions rose18 percent, compared to the same period in 2008. So more guns have been bought and more guns are in existence, and crime rates are DOWN. Hmmmmmm. The problem is that many people do think that way. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Yes, you are a troll. Troll: In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum. You started a thread to start a pissing match. In that topic you purposely misspelled the persons name (Lush Rimjob). And you are taking glee in another persons serious problem.... And taunt your glee. Yes, that makes you a troll. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

To be fair, she does know you better and knows when you are going to distract and start throw strawmen sooner. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

And: Until your Bush bash you were on to something. But I do find it funny you think it is a joke, but think Obama did better than Bush. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Well this will piss you off. I am an airline employee... I get extra screening ALL the time. I asked the TSA about this and they said that I get selected for extra screening since my ticket shows me to be an airline employee and that they know that I will not raise a fuss about the extra screening. (edit: I should note that this is during company paid travel, or using my EE discount tickets) Now, the first time I was told that I just didn't buy it... But I have now been told that same story several different times. So it seems they are taking the path of least resistance and selecting people that they know will not get upset even if they already know I have been though a 10 year background check. Didn't answer your poll since my answer was not there. I was enlisted; I hated it when I was in, I liked that I served. 11B Airborne Infantry. One of the reasons that I joined was I was bored with the job I had at the time and all my friends that had served seemed to have had some good experiences along with some bad ones. But life is about experiences and I was looking for something new. I would have enjoyed it more if I had gone in at 18, or if I had picked a different MOS. Still, glad I did it, and I am glad I am done with it. I had many bad experiences, and some really great ones. Heck, I got to jump C130's, CH47's, Huey's, UH60's, C141's, C5's...ect. I got to shoot a whole variety of small arms, and used rocket launchers and a whole bunch of other things that go BOOM! But... Like I said, I am glad to be out. If I had to do it over, I would go in at 18, pick a different MOS, or gone in as an Officer. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

OR, she was accurately describing the person. Like it or not, descriptions like black/white/Asian/short/fat/bald are all extremely good ways to help describe someone. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Still waiting on you to answer these John..... Now, please put up or shut up. Care to explain to the group how many crimes have been committed with a bayonet? Care to explain to the group how a flash suppressor on a semi auto makes any difference? Care to explain to the group why a grenade launcher ban seemed to make sense when Grenades are HIGHLY regulated and care to tell the class how many crimes were committed with GRENADES? Maybe you could explain how the DOJ said that even before the ban only 3-4% of crimes were committed with the types of weapons banned meant that they should be banned? And care to answer the OTHER questions since you seem to want to answer for him? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

I already have and included links. It would be really nice if you took facts as facts and refrained from lame personal attacks. I have provided references, you have once again ignored them. Simple.... They don't by LAW. That is pretty obvious to anyone that cares about facts.... And I and other have supplied to applicable laws for you to read. Which has been provided. Oh look out of intellectual ammo so soon? All relevant info has been posted... Just admit you can't follow that line of logic and are trying to distract so you don't have to look stupid. Your ignorance is showing. We have provided the LAW... Maybe you should read it before you claim to know it? Again, maybe you should read the supplied links before you look even less informed. The links have been supplied by several people..... I suggest reading them before you look more ignorant than normal. But I am willing to be you will just come back with your normal lame personal attacks. Tell ya what... Till you read and answer the questions.... I am going to ignore your childish rants on this topic. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Well since you are acting like a 5year old that knows everything without having a clue.... That still makes me more right than you. (Yes, I know that rhymed.... Your arguments are so sad, that I have to entertain myself some other way) "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

I asked him to explain why it made SENSE, not if there was a precedent. If you are going to jump in, care to answer the question ASKED?
