And everytime MY party tries to boot them out, YOUR party cries out about civil rights... If they are illegal, they should not have the rigths a citizen has. They should only be given the right to a safe ride back to where they came. But the liberals will never go for that. He had 12 YEARS to comply, and he did not. I would give him a year if we actually thought he would comply. But given the fact that he had not complied in 12 YEARS...I doubt he would. Without the threat of invasion he would have done nothing. EVEN with the threat he was playing games. He had 12 years...The UN should not have taken do long to move. That has been said before. Do you forget that he WAS SHOWN to have weapons system he was not allowed to have? From your own post: He was not supposed to have them for the last 12 years...Not mths, YEARS. The fault of this situation is: 1. Bush 41, and the UN for not finnishing it back in 91. The reason he didn't was the world community asked him not to. Listening to them was a mistake. 2. Clinton, and the UN for the most part ignoring the whole area for 12 years. 3. Bush 43 for being handed a big ball of shit due to the top 2. You may not like what he did....But he at least DID something about SH...Things that should have been done over the last 12 years. Plus, according to intel SH had WMD programs and weapons....ALL that should have been handled by the UN or past Presidents. And for 12 years we thought he was being a good guy.....But he was not. Gassing his own people, having weapon systems he was not allowed to have, supporting terrorism. It should have been handled by the UN years ago. Clinton should have made the UN deal with it. So you want to find Blame? The UN is at the top of the list. Followed by Bush 41 for not finishing the job. Clinton for ignoring the situation. We waited 12 years. Contained is not in compliance....And in those years he has given money and aid to terrorists....Suicide bombers families were paid 25,000. So he was not controled. Big statement....no backing..again. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

No, the DEMS are pushing for the license..Arnnie wants them to not have a regular license...But he sees that the Dems are gonna push it anyway. So he is not allowing it, and the DEMS are trying anyway. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

He had 12 years, and he didn't disarm. Yes the added pressure was helping, but he had 12 years. He had 12 years....It was clear he would not comply without force. Remove the force, remove him doing the right thing, "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

It has always been that way...This is nothing new. I knew guys that wanted to go to Bosnia for the same reason. People do stay in due to large bonuses...But it has been that way since I can remember...Its nothing new. I think it is the fact that only having a HS diploma and being 3 years older makes it harder...I don't know many HS grads that make 40 grand a year. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

As always....Hence the reason they have large bonuses. It has always been this way. Very few who went into the service out of high school can make that much as soon as they get out. The economy has not changed the reup programs... "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

If he didn't do it in 12 years...he would not have done it at all. You are fooling yourself if you think he would. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Look at California...They want to grant DL to illegals. Arnnie wants to make the license a special license...The Dems don't want that. The Dems are trying to give illegals health care...Why should I pay for an illegal aliens health care? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

The Dems are the ones that want to give ILLEGAL aliens helth care paid for by you and I. Give then Drivers licenses....? I though driving was a privalige, not a right? Get real John...The Dems support Illegals more than the Repubs. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Gee he HAD 12 years to do it "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Maybe you only look for opinons that support you? I asked my CSM buddy how reups were going...I really expected to get an answer that they were down. He told me that they are at an all time high. Maybe you are using selective sampling as well? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

And you think that makes them good guys? Would you want guys like that leading your son? I don't want guys that get their jollys by killing people for sport running the country. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Does this mean I can't hire hitmen? DAMN. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

I have a friend that is a CSM in the 82d Airborne. I asked him about Kerry. He told me that Kerry is an untrustworthy piece of shit. It seems to me that a majority of service members don't like Kerry. There are always going to be exceptions. My question to him was valid...how about you let HIM answer it instead of you doing it for him? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
-
No, my question is does he think that if he had gone to combat whould his opinion be different? Very Valid question. You see many of the folks that are pissed at Kerry are pissed because he called them baby killers and war criminals. Some are pissed since he looks to have turned against them to motivate his political goals. So it is a valid question. Where to go for AFF: SDU, Deland, Zhills, ETC

Well....Uh, ....Hell, I got nothing. It seems that I get yelled at a lot for pointing that kinda stuff out. How can a person claim that the tunnel is not a good training tool when: 1. The top skydivers use it. 2. He has never been to one. I mean really. You can do 40 jumps worth of RW in well...40 min. Wanna make it simple? Go to your reserve in any Emergency exit that is lower than you would do a hop n pop from. However I have a buddy that is dead due to this. Lets pop into the patented "wayback machine" Cessna 182's engine dies at around 1200 feet. The pilot tells everyone to get out except the observer sitting in the student seat. The first guy out pulls his main...It opens LOW. The pilot a triple threat (Pilot, skydiver, rigger) tells my buddy to pull his reserve. He climbs out and goes. He pulls his *cutaway* handle. He realizes his mistake and pulls his MAIN...Well his RSL starts to open the reserve and he hits the ground. The third person pulls the silver and is fine. The pilot is doing his E-checklist and sees that the observer turned the fuel valve off. It was this lesson that I learned that a CYPRES does not arm till 1500 feet. So, if you are in a plane lower than you would do a hop n pop from....Go out on silver. That means hand on the handle and jump out the door. When clear pull it. It is an emergency situation...It is better to get a repack than get killed. Also...Do low hop n pops. Do exits from 2500 feet. you never know what you will do when the time comes...And if you are an otter baby, you will most likley never have left a plane that low. If people want to jump, help them...But don't try to get people to jump. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 -
One paper....Several papers have done election 2000 coverage and said Bush won. The Judges said Bush won. It has been looked at so many times...And I have yet to see ONE recap say other than Bush won and Gore lost. If you have PROOF otherwise I would be glad to see it....Not that it matters. Not true. Someone is always gonna bitch. Unless you can PROVE something happend that was unethical you have nothing. Apperance does not make it unfair. People bitching does not make it unfair. Only FACTS. Facts that your side has been unable to provide time after time. I find it funny that you guys are still bitching about it without any proof. Keep me laughing. Best call you can make is to scrap a demo if it is not right. I had a Lt Col. Yelling at my E4 ass since I would not let my team jump into a HS homecoming game. Winds where HIGH, and it was in PA in the middle of a city with NO outs. The field was next to the school, and the winds were coming over the school into the field. We poped a smoke to look at the winds....It was WAY ugly. I told the team leader I was not going to do it. He agreed it was a bad idea. He went to the Col. and told him, and the Col. jumped me asking how I can make such a call. I told him 2000+ jumps and that since I was the most experienced jumper there the Team leader agreed with me. It was quite ugly....But someone getting hurt would be worse. Good call. Where to go for AFF: SDU, Deland, Zhills, ETC
Ron replied to Terminal-V's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Any program that is USPA will be fine. SDU is a GREAT program. It does come at a cost. A combination of tunnel/AFF could be done without the SDU program....But if cost is no object SDU is fantastic. Any Large DZ in FL. will be fine. With winter comming all the large DZ's will be flying 7 days a week. SDC is where I live. If you need to get your coach jumps done I will do it for slot after Oct. Ron replied to Terminal-V's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Yep, rob is a great coach/instructor Uh, BOTH have full time instructors. Both are very professional. One could say that Zhills is better for a person off of student status since we HAVE fun jumpers. I have been to DeLand several times and had new skydivers making solos since my team was training...as were most other jumpers at the DZ. Zhills has load organizing everyday. Zhills is one of the largest landing areas I have ever seen. In DeLand you have to ride a truck back. Both places are fine, professional places.
