As is how you guys never will admit that Gore lost fair and square. You keep me in stitches "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Florida plans on giving the election to the guy that gets the most votes...Just like it did in 2000. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

You think you might feel differently about Kerry if you HAD gone to combat? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Thanks, maybe I will try again. But I would hate to screw up and loose all the CD's I already put on it. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

They had it at Target. I had a buddy download his playlist to it....But I could not find a way to transefer it from the iPod to my computer...So as soon as I tried to add my own music....It deleted his songs..1805 of them. Where???? That would be a cool ass dive anyway. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

I have been trying to make that happen...Maybe next weekend while I am in DeLand training? Promise not to make me look stupid? (Other than my lycra pants and gay looking shirts) BTW, just bought another toy....an iPod. Now I have to fiqure the damn thing out. Yep....But at least you can see what Democrats really are For this...All I can say is what a load of crap. Please reference this http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1255270;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread to see how peaceful your guys are. Yes, it was stupid to take a 3YO to a political event like that. But to claim your "peace lovin Dem's" are so good....Is kinda being short sighted. There has been plenty of proof to show GWB didn't go AWOL....You guys don't give up on that. In fact you use forged documents to say otherwise. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

I looked into buying one tonight....Damn WalMart had a guy that was like 500 years old working the electronics department. I asked him, "Do you have iPods?" He just kinda looked at me strange and said, "Whats that?" I told him that it was I think an MP3 player. He asked,"Whats that?" I said it was something like a CD player. He asked, "Whats that?" I told him it was like you took Benny Goodman and put him into a small box you could carry.. "You mean like a phonograph?" "Yes" I told him. "How do you get them in there?" "Never mind" So now I am back at friends house and iPod less....This really sucks frankly...I was going on a 40 mile bike ride tomorrow and wanted tunes. So my question...And the reason I posted this.... Can I take my iPod (If I every manage to get one) and transfer music FROM it to my PC? I have been told no. I would say the same thing. Damn, they make alot of money! For the record I LIKE Lieberman. I do hate Edwards. BTW do you find it funny that the Kerry/Edwards ticket is running with a platform of medical reform and Edwards was an ambulance chaser? Edwards has sued Doctors several times....Now he is for tort reform? He made his money from medical lawsuits? Do you find that as funny as I do? That quite frankly is the WORST logic I have EVER hear you say. EVER.... It is at best a load of tripe. Copensation programs like that are VERY common in highly compensated positions. If a VP of a company puts programs into place before he leaves on good terms...It is quite normal if the programs are profitable to continue to get payments from them. A buddy of mine that was laid off from a company just got a 2200.00 check for profits from a program he was on. He has been gone 2 years from that company. Programs like that are normal. Like I said....The worst logic I have ever seen you use. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

If the person was over the age of 18....Then her opinion does not matter in this situation. It is quite clear she is just blaming who she can in her grief....That does not make her right...It just makes Bush the scape goat....Need I remind you that the US Congress is just at fault for this military action? They (Including Kerry) did NOT have to vote for it. It would have made them unpopular, but if they really thought it was wrong, THAT was the chance they had, not after the fact. True. But you do what you swore to do. A Commander that KNOWINGLY makes a bad choice is culpable.....And like I said Congress (Including Kerry) is as responsible for military action. Yeah, but thats GOOD debt...Gongrats. I have been looking, but I have a job offer I have to think about.....And to be honest buying a house is a BIG step. Good luck! "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

That is so sad that the best you can do is to vote for someone because of who they are not. Really sad. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

That changes nothing....I know you never got to this point, but the oath you take says, "support and defend....Obey the lawful orders of the CiC and the Officers above me." If you think for one second that when you join the military that you might not be put into harms way...you are an idiot. OK "deferred compensation"... That means he did something BEFORE he left and they are paying him for it now. Nothing wrong with that. Many companies do that fo Tax reasons. A high bonus can be broken down into smaller payouts over several years... Common practice in big business. Congrats. The only debt I have is a car payment....Its nice not to have any credit card debt, and cash in the bank. I could take my savings out and pay off the 12 grand on the car...But I like having cash, and don't really mind the payments. SH could have played along with the resolutions at anytime...he decided not to. thats like listening to a guy in jail claim he never commited the crime? You believe everyone in prison is innocent? You tend to believe criminals when they say they didn't do something? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Reread my prior posts...You are either ignoring them on purpose, or just to argue. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Stainless steel hardware,... is it really necessary?
Ron replied to SkydiveNFlorida's topic in Gear and Rigging
I have three rigs. One is standard...It has 1,000 jumps on it and is 8 years old. Two are Stainless and about 2 years old. All three are fine. All three are safe to jump. If you take care of your rig it will not corrode. Rigs were using the standard metal for 30+ years and I have never seen or heard of a failure. Still, if you can afford the bling, bling get it. It does increase the value of the rig, and you WILL sell it at some point. But Standard/Stainless is such a non-issue when it comes to function. You seem to forget we have been attacked on US soil twice by Islamic extremists in the last 10 years....In fact I can't think of an attack from OUTSIDE the US after Peal Harbor till the WTC attack in 93. So there was a threat, we just didn't see it till after 9/11. Yep, but how many have yes answers to these four questions: 1. Hate us. 2. Have/Had WMD's 3. Have USED WMD's 4. Support terrorism. SH/Iraq was one place that had all four. Yes, they could. Oh the US looks pretty stupid. We supported people who later turned on us....Oh wait, that happens all the time even in personal relationships right? Fact is we the US did some stupid stuff. But hindsight is easy...Leading IN those situations is harder than playing Monday morning President. We would all be perfect if we could make our choices AFTER the event. There was a REAL reason. He was though to have WMD's. He never told the inspectors what he did with them. He had the tools needed to restart his WMD programs and he supported terrrorism. Maybe it was not the correct thought in HINDSIGHT..but the intel at the time was good enough to have the UN, President, US Congress and several other countries thinking that SH was a danger. Not a EXCUSE the REASON. I don't agree with that choice. Sr. fucked up. But then again I am not the one slamming one guy for not doing it, and then slamming another for doing it...you are. Thats a double standard. Both Bush Sr., and Clinton should have done it. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Should "hook" turns be banned at demos?
Ron replied to hottamaly's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
