  1. Well then you are missing a very BIG part of life... Ever remember your parents telling you not to hang out with the "bad people"? You are looked at by who you choose to associate with. You are judged even more by who you support "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  2. Well SH was told to not have ANY plans to restart a WMD program...So even that would be in violation. But you see what if I played with the detectives and they told you that I was not being honest, and they felt I was playing the sheel game with them? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  3. And no there is a real threat to the US on its own soil. SH said it to ANYONE that would listen. You never saw him on TV while the crowds burned US flags saying "Death to America the great Satan?" And with the WMD's the US sold him. And with the WMD's that he used 10 times. With the WMD's that he had the materials to make. With the MWD's he was reported to have. With the WMD's that he was supposed to say how he destroyed, but never did say if he did. Those WMD's. Maybe he didn't have them after all...But I'd rather NOT find them in Iraq, than find one in times square right after it was used. But the International community told him not to do that. Now you slam Jr. for doing EXACTLY THAT. It requires an open mind to listen to opinions...But not an open mind after you have made a choice. You need to make a choice and not flip flop around with the wind. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Maybe he signed it...then didn't? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  5. Not to the US. There is a real threat now. And SH was thought to be a very good source of making that danger really ugly. Then why can't you realize that there is a real threat now, and that SH would have liked nothing better than to employ a WMD on American soil? Sticking to a course of action when it is not popular is important...Flipping to the popular side is a trait that the liberals seem to have. You call it an open mind...I call it doing whatever it takes to be popular. And that makes for bad leadership. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  6. So you would have no problem having him play at a party you throw? Even knowing that he has been charged with a crime like that? You don't mind him representing you? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  7. This is where the liberals kill me. In 91 the International folks wanted Bush Sr. to not go into Baghdad...And he didn't...So now you blame him for it. In 2003 Bush Jr. wanted to go in...But now you give him crap for NOT listening to the international community. Folks thats about as flip/flop as you get. Either you want the CiC to listen to everybody, or not. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  8. OK...Lets say I shot someone 12 years ago. You sold me the gun. The cops come and tell me I have to give up that gun or else....That or else turns to 12 years...No one does anything to me, and I don't give the gun up....Mean time I am saying I am going to kill you for the last 12 years. In that time I have given money to people who are killing people. Finally you ARE attacked from someone. Your defenses didn't work....I hear about it and it is clear I am glad, and you are now afraid that I might give that gun to a buddy of mine to kill you, or even kill you myself. Now a few folks are telling you that I have that gun and others...A few others are saying that I don't. The cost of you thinking I don't have that gun...And remember I DID have one YOU SOLD ME ONE. I have never given it up like I was supposed to, and you have been told I both have it and more and that I don't have one at all. Is that I could kill you. The cost of acting like I still have that gun is less than ignoring the possibility that I don't. The cost of ignoring SH and the intel that said he had it could have ended with an NBC attack in a US city. Yep and that makes it even MORE possible that someone else could do it, but with a bigger much worse weapon. Then we should fire EVERYONE that voted for it...to include Kerry. Plus: Everyone thought he had them. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  9. What I am saying is that I would not support anyone that has been accused of such an act...Now that does not mean I would attack them, but I would definitely not support him, or allow him to represent me. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  10. No in one sentance you say you would not treat him differently....Then in the other you say you would. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  11. I don't know why we waited...That is a question for the UN, and Clinton and Co. I would suspect that Iraq poped back up on the radar after 9/11 due to our illusion of being safe was destroyed. Once we realized we are able to be attacked in a mjor way the threat of an NBC attack came from a movie plot to possible. So we look at 1. Who might have WMD's. 2. Who hated us. 3. Who supported terrorism. One of the few places that were answered by all three was SH and Iraq. So the magnifying glass came out. We can always disagree with a smile. I'm sick of Hurricanes. 12. You say this: Then you say this: Thats a contridiction Kev "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  13. They still voted for it. If they wanted more info...they could have said no. According to the intel, he was a threat...and he DID have ties to terrorism. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  14. There was TONs of intel that said otherwise....Enough intel that was able to get the UN, Congress, The President...ect to feel there was a problem. So your perfect hindsight may be right, but at the time enough people thought otherwise. Again enough intel said otherwise. Or based on the available intel (since he was not giving up any information) a NBC agent could have been used at the Superbowl. Doubtful...France was busy selling Iraq supplies. Sure they will run accross the boarder, realize our beer sucks, and run home. Funny I think he would have learned that being a war President is not a sure sign to re-election...Ask his Daddy.... I think he did what he did what he thought was best for the security of the US based on intel that he had. Everyone is right in hindsight...Hey, don't go on the Titanic...It will sink.
  15. No, but I AM an advocate of when I say I am going to do something if you don't play by the LAW then I will do what I said I would do. To do otherwise is being a paper tiger. The UN voted to use force. The US congress voted to use force if SH did not comply. He did not comply for 12 + years. Deadlines came and went, and still he did not comply. Only after the UN started to backpeddle on the use of force. I am from the school of "You have till Friday to do X or Y will happen." If by Friday you didn't do X...Then Y had better happen. Not "Oh you have till NEXT Friday". "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  16. I think Kerry is a shitbag. Have fun! Well thanks for serving...But the Air Force? I guess thats kinda like being in the service. Why not join a real unit like the 82d? (You said to give you shit) Ron B Co. 2/325 AIR (left in 2002) "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  17. While Iagree we need to stop supporting illegal aliens.... You think Kerry will do this? I don't. He is socalist. He will let them in and given them MORE rights. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  18. You already have one...It's the one marked "Registered Democrat" "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  19. Wrong..France was selling equipment t Iraq in violation of the embargo....They would not vote to end that cash cow. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  20. After 9/11 we suddenly realized we were able to be attacked. We became afraid. The security failures showed us how easy it would be for an NBC attack to be carried out on us. So we went looking for someone that HAD WMD's and hated us. The most clear answer was SH. He hated America. He said it all the time. One time had WMD's. Hell we sold him some, and he had been buying things needed to build more. He supported Terrorism. He was giving 25,000 to the families of suicide bombers. Add 1,2, and 3 together and you have a guy that hates us with possible WMD's that would gladly use them on us or more likely give or sell them to someone to use against us. Add the fact that he ignored the UN resolution for 12 years.... And the logical conclusion is that we needed to know what he had, and what he did with what he had. He was not giving us that info, and was in violation. The UN, and the American Congress voted to use force. I disagree....If he had waited a year it would have been a better political move. It would have shown that he was able to work with the UN and the world to solve a problem. He would be riding the "War wave" at election time, and no one would be able to use the "1,000 dead Americans" against him. Waiting would have been better politicaly..But in that year we might have had an NBC agent from Iraq used in an American city killing thousands. Invading was the best choice at the time for the security of the country...It was not a good political move. Now in hindsight everyone jumps on the "It was a bad move bandwaggon"...Including people like Kerry who voted FOR it. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  21. The UN showed itself to be a pussy. They gave a date, and then did nothing when it passed. And Kerry, and the rest of Congress WHO VOTED TO USE FORCE. TWO branches of our government said go....Congress could have said no. Kerry's vote will haunt him. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  22. Do you forget that Kerry, and most of congress voted to go to war? The UN voted to use force? I find it quite funny that you want to blame Bush.... TWO branches of our Government gave the OK, not just Bush. SH was in vilolation of the Resolutions. He had been for 12+ years. The UN should have handled it, but they didn't. Get a new line to use against Bush....Kerry voted for war also. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  23. Here we don't agree. I would not let my kids play with Michael Jackson, or my 15 year old hang with R Kelly. While they may be innocent...I would not risk my children, or support him when I have doubts. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  24. I asked him about that amazing skill of his to get be able to hit the puck with the wrong end of a bat and still get it over the net. Kerry told me, "It's easy for me. I am naturally gifted coming from Blue blood. The mental game is easy also. I just pretend that the puck is one of my, or maybe someone elses war medals...Or maybe just a ribbon. And that the net is a the fence of the White House....Of course if I miss and hit the net/fence with my/someone elses, medals/ribbons, I just claim that was what I was trying to do all along." "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  25. Because Kerry is claiming to be a "Man of the people" when in truth he does not know which end of the bat to hit the hockey puck with. He is a major poser. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
