Uh....Yeah. Id rather go see Lenord part 6 again. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Well, you could also have a short in the mag wire...A hot jug could pop if the prop moves. I have seen it before. Didn't start the engine, but it backfired about 30 seconds after the engine stopped. Now this case was a guy had stopped and fueled his plane (A Cessna 172 I think). His battery was dead, so he hand propped it. The problem was that he had to much throttle, and the plane started and started rolling. The pilot is 61 and tried to get into the plane to stop it, but could not. He was fine, but it totalled two airplanes, went through two fences and hit a hanger. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

sounds like a dependency to me. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Ok simple. Come over and look around. If I play a hide the shell game with you, kick you out before you are finished, fail to show you what i did with the ones you KNEW I had (Since I had bought it from you, and had used others) then you are free to assume I still have them. If you and your buddies told me I can't have them or you will kick my ass, and I fail to allow you to look, or play hide and seek with you and them, or fail to show how I got rid of them, then you and your buddies are free to try and kick my ass. Simple really. He never complied and the inspectors said that. Now they also said that they were doing a better job, of playing along, but they also said they had a long way to go. He never complied. But thats another thread. Iran is trying to build a nuke. That is bad. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Nope, I think we had bad intel and were wrong. However, I think the UN resolution spelled it out that he had to SHOW us he didn't have them...And he did not. Also he clearly did have plans to start up as soon as he could. I find it funny that you think 390 tons can dissapear, but a few tons should be easily found. Glock Perfection: The Only Thing Good Enough For The Gunny

Great idea...start the paperwork. It would save me tons of time from working on my degree on my own. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 -

Hey you can accuse all you want. I just asked if he was accusing the President of breaking the law...You said he was not, and he said he was. You spoke for him and were wrong. With witnesses, and DNA evidence? Why bother? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

They are not in an area of the world with friends that would love to blow themselves up to destroy us. lus I think the Fench, Russians and Chinese are smart enough to know about the MAD principal....The Jihadists (is that a word?) WANT to destroy everything. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Who said I am not worried about the US failures? However, we have a government that is trying to keep them out of Terrorists hands, not give nukes to them. I doubt that Iran would try so hard. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Well, a guy has to have his toys.... But I am looking into buying a plane. Either a real plane like a Cessna, or an Ultralight. I have a pilots license, so I am looking at the Sport class planes. So much to do, so little time to do it all. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Great Planes Stick .60 with a .91 OS 4 stroke. All around great plane. I can hover it like a helicopter or fly it around like a trainer, or Buzz the field. My buddy has a 60 and 40 sized and we fly formation. Total planes I have(That I can recall): 1. GWS Mustang. Foamie, way underpowered. 2. Zaggi, Fun, but a good brushless setup will run 200+ for it. 3. World Models Zero with retracts...fun, but retracts on grass suck. 4. Great Planes Ultimate. Biplane. Built it in FedEx colors. 5. Great Planes Skybolt Biplane. (like a Pitts) 6. Sig Hog Bipe. 7. Cap 232. 8. Great Planes 1/5 scale Extra 9. Trainer 10 Profile Plane 11. Great Planes U Can Do. 12. 2 Goldberg Chipmunks One built and one still in the box. 13. 1/3 Scale Pitts. (Pic is not of mine, but the same plane. 14. My new toy a 1/3 scale Extra with a 105 inch wingspan. Paid 1,000 bucks for it, it was flown once by the guy who built it...He was afraid he would crash it....I have no such fear. I am sure Kallend has more, but I have only been doing this about 18 mths, give me time. If anyone is ever in Zhills and wants to try it, I bought a trainer to teach my GF, and she never learned, so I let others fly it. Glock Perfection: The Only Thing Good Enough For The Gunny
Ron replied to Kennedy's topic in Speakers Corner
Then you would think you would see "THE Gunny" in it, not "ALL Gunny's" or "Kallend's TWO Gunny friends". I understood it, and I don't have a PhD. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 -
And we survived 8 years of a guy that needed someone to define "sex" and "is" to him. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

With our bombers, missiles , ect...I doubt someone could get close enough to do anything. The real threat is a crazy person with a "borrowed Nuke" Nuke includes "dirty bombs"....Hell, a large release of a nerve agent in the NY subways would do it. Now you will not believe this, but I don't think there should be nukes as well....The problem is that they do exist. Even if the Manhattan Project had not been done, they still would have been invented. Germany and Japan both had programs....I have read that Japans was very close. Now that they do exist, and no one is able wave a magic wand and make them "poof" away. Now the problem starts. So, since they DO exist, and are not going to go away...Who should have them? And I agree...We already have enough to destroy the world. Easy to answer, in fact even though you are a "peace guy", you already have that answer. To keep someone from using them on you.....If you know you will die if you launch one, you are much less likely to use them. MAD Mutual Assured Destruction. Some lunitic that plans on Jihad and getting those 100 Virgins (never got that anyway, I don't want a Virgin...I want a girl that knows what to do...Oh well) Does not care if he takes the wolrd out. OK so don't predict the future...You are a smart guy, give me a guess baised on your thoughts...I mean the US has lost Nuclear material, Anthrax ect...And we all know that the USSR Nukes are SOMEWHERE, but we don't know where....So do you think that Iran caould, or even would be able to keep them safe? I don't, I think they would LOVE to have a nuke take out a US city. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

You might not want to answer for other people: Bill: Quade: You may remove your foot now. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Knowing they seem ready to continue to develop Nukes, and that the US is the largest target....You think the US should do nothing? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Thats just saying it would be hard, not impossible. Can't re-enlist...Disabled accodring to the Army. But if called, I would of course go back. would you? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

What I find funny is that 360 TONS of exposives can dissapear, but you think that a couple of tons of Anthrax should be easy to find. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

I don't know what you want. I think some people would be happy if we had another terorist attack. They could them slam Bush and Ashcroft. See. An individual with a NBC weapon is not that much of a threat. Not to many individuals have the money, time, juice to develop an NBC weapon on their own. That means that the threat comes from a crazy individual getting a big, bad weapon from an anti US government. The more WMD's that the world has, and the more WMD's in third world anti-US countries hands the greater the threat that some crazed lunitic will be able to beg, borrow, steal, find, or buy one. No problem not solved. They don't have to use it, they only need to "lose" one. They, like Iraq were much more likely to lose one than say Israel. The Russian weapons are a threat. Do you really want MORE possible weapons out there? I don't know who has them....Do you want more to possibly dissapear? I have the "Knife Edge" booties from Michigan...I like them a lot. They are way different than any others I have seen. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

A conventional attack will not do the damage that an NBC attack would....Plus we would see the big battleship comming. A Nuke in LA brought in and placed in a breadbox van parked downtown is totally different. Diplomacy without strength is nothing....Should we just ask nicely for them to quit?...Oh wait we did, and they didn't as far as we can tell. Didn't work in N. Korea either. Diplomacy should be tried...But what do YOU suggest we do if it does not work? Just ask *really* nice again, and maybe send a nice FTD "Please stop building nukes" flower bouquet? Questions for you: Should anyone be allowed to have nukes? I mean anyone at all. Should we not try to reduce the number of nukes out there? Do you think that country NEEDS nukes? Do you think that they could control them in such a way that they would not be used, sold, or stolen?
