  1. I have no idea....Maybe old reruns of "Andy Grifith" Did you see the movie "White Chicks"? Or maybe "Soul Plane"? It's OK for Blacks to make fun of whites, but it is not OK the other way....Why? Please tell me you just screwed that up. Why should sex be included unless the job is giving birth? Why should race be a factor ever? 2. See I disagree. I ignore your family history, your education, your skin color....I look at the person and how they act, and how they treat others...Thats equal. You can celabrate diversity all you want. As long as when it comes down to the bottom line that you don't favor any person based on it. I treat people equally. I see TONS of racism from blacks to whites. Everyone ignores it, or encourages it. NAACP, BET. If anyone had "The National Associaton for the Advancement of White People", or "White Entertainment TV"....Oh hell there would be a shit storm. But for Blacks its OK? Why? You have proof of that? How many Black NFL coaches have been hired since it was started? Is it possible that there are just not that many qualified Black Coaches? 3. Hey, I don't remember signing a model waver The advice about tricky parts of the exit is a good idea....Mention something about filming sunsets on the ride to altitude in there "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  4. I agree.... I have a question however. How do you feel about the USPA taking your footage and giving it to someone to make money? It is what they did in Lake Wales. Opinion? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  5. Does that also apply to you and your thoughts on making skydiving popular? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  6. I don't see them as taking it lightly. Still while they can'f fire a fatty, they DO seem to take it seriously. I don't suspect that tobacco would win in court. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  7. They were not used in anger...They were used in war. And the use of those two weapons saved close to a millon lives by taking 250,000. Much less I might add than the normal carpet bombing that was already taking place. An Atomic weapon would be a bad tool for Iraq. Who said I was opposed to nuclear weapons? Re-read it...I said that it would be a bad choice to use in this situation. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  8. See. Why should I think you understand where I am coming from? You claim I can't understand where you are coming from. Really? Then why am I called a racist when I bring them up? Or when I offer to treat people as equal but refuse to treat them as special? Oh how about these two stories... I was in LA. I had a guy pull a gun on me and ask what a "little whiteboy was doing in his hood". I was attacked in HS by a black kid. When he was asked why he did it, his answer was, "He is white". I have more stories if you want them....Stories about my Mom being harrassed by some black kids. *I* have been passed over for promotion. The reason? They had me and a black women going for the same job...I was already doing the job and doing it well. But they needed to fill a quota in that office and a black woman filled two at once. They told me this, and asked me NOT to make a big deal of it since they HAD to met the quotas. They gave me another position in another area that already had it's quota met. Is that fair? I am not sure you do. It seems the only way for the minorities to feel it is equal is for us to give them special treatment and make us pay for the sins of our great grandparents. I don't agree with that. I think he is simply defending a position that you may not like. Blacks were treated badly years ago...Not by me. So why should I have to pay for it? It seems that minorities will not be happy till they are able to treat me, like their parents were treated....I did not treat your parents bad, so why do you feel I should be punished? Edit...This is not all directed at you...but in general. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  9. This from someone in Germany...home of the greatist run of murders ever. 16 MILLON sheesh...People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  10. Maybe because most are sick of being called a racist when we want to treat you equal and you demand special. As soon as we don't let you have your way you scream that we are racist. White Entertainment Television would never fly in this country, but BET is OK? Thats racism. If I hire a white guy I am called a racist...even if he is more skilled.....But you are OK with me having to hire a minority because of AA? Thats racism. Hiring based on color not performance...But you are OK with racism when it fits you, and up in arms when it even looks like it is against you. You have the "right" to get pissed and call me a racist. I have no right to hire the best guy, or be proud of family. You kill me. I have seen nothing offensive in his posts. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  11. I am the person minorities hate the most. White Male and I don't see color on people at all. I am willing to treat them EQUAL, but not SPECIAL. Since I don't want to treat them special, they call me a racist. BET, NAACP, AA, making NFL teams interview a black for every coach job is not equal, it is SPECIAL treatment. And frankly its BS. 12. Yes, but the anti gun crowd all claim that there will be shootouts in the street everytime a state tries to pass a carry law. And these numbers clearly show thats not true. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  13. You could very well end up dead if you do that. Better to be the first with the gun. If he sees a gun he might run. I personally will shoot anyone that breaks into my house. They will not know I am armed till they are bleeding. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  14. Me too.... Oh Lord, please don't let me be the first to fuck this up....Amen. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

  16. OK so here is the really big question: Why do some items or ways to deal with emergencies just get accepted (Such as get a hhok knife), while others (such as Watch your WL) are ignored? Why is some advice not needed to be justified before people accpet it, and other advice must have graphs and charts provided? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  17. Could you please explain this?...I don't follow it. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  18. http://www.blackenterprise.com/AboutUsOpen.asp?Source=AboutBE/0205pr.html Some interesting parts: First off, it is in a magazine called "Black Enterprise". That is discrimination. If I tried to publish ANY magazine for whites only I would be sued. But in this case it seems to be OK. Seems to be the biggest issue is women to men. I will grant that there are more whites in high positions than blacks....Ya think that might have something to do with the ratio of whites to black that graduate college? a 300% increase is great. I would say that has more to do with the fact that more blacks are going to school and doing well, than AA...But it could be AA. But is it better to hire a less qualified canidate just to be nice? What happens to the white guy that was better qualified? Was he not just discriminated against? Or is it OK in these cases? I totally agree on judging a person on deeds....But AA is against that. 23. where have I said you should not be allowed to smoke? I said I don't understand why people start it when they know it is bad for them. I also don't see how a kid today can't know it is bad for them, but do it anyway. I do however feel that you can do as you please. However, don't expect me to pay for your smoking related health problems. And I completly understand a company wanting to not hire smokers. I don't think that is a legal stance. I would have no problem if a company wanted to pay smokers less for all the breaks they take (Or give non-smokers more pay of time off). I also think a company has the right to deny health care to a smoker, or charge a higher rate. And yes, the same thing applies to skydiving. If a company does not want to cover a jumper, or wants to charge him more, that is the companies right. You can smoke all ya like. 24. It was his *first* time in prison. The letter and picture he sent was great. I think it was the girls flashing the camera for him that made it a no-no. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  25. I have a year, 5 year, and 30 year plans. I make lists of the things I want to do.Here is the big part, once I write it down on a piece of paper I also make the first step in that direction. I use the initial momentum to start the process. One form the one year. I wanted to start flying again. I have a license already...So I though about buying a plane. Decided there was not "perfect plane" so I decided to take Helicopter flight lessons....As soon as I made that choice, I made the call and took my first lesson. Some from the 5 year: I want a house and to transfer in my company to another division. I wanted to go back to school. So I am now back (This ties in below) One from the 30 year: I want to retire well. So I bumped up my 401k to 15% of my salary, and then started buying stocks with another 5%. I wanted to retire from my company with 20-25 years (My company service time for retirement stops at 25 years) So I need to enter another job field in 6-11 years. So I went back to school now to make that easier. Again the most important thing once you decide what to do is to start right then.
