Why are conservatives so frequently accused of racism
Ron replied to sundevil777's topic in Speakers Corner
1. Because it is an easy way to distract from the topic and to attempt to discredit someone. 2.Much easier than using facts. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 -
WOW! Pure partisan tripe. You are getting more and more transparent. But, just for fun: Liberal values for kids, circa 2009: 1. If you disagree with something your teacher says, stand up and shout "Racist!", or just insult them. You will be considered a hero by your classmates. 2. Avoid listening to anything you or your parents might disagree with...In fact don't bother listening to anyone, and don't worry about facts and evidence. 3. Spelling and grammar are for losers. Freely use curse words, it will make you look more hip and cool. 4. Education is a waste of time, drop out and let the govt send you a check. 5. Listen to the popular and vocal kids, and think like them. If people criticize you for this tell them "but they're telling the TRUTH." 6. If you agree to do a tough job, and it gets tough, quit and let someone else do it, or just get a free check from the Govt. 7. Asking people to serve their country is a "joke and and insult." 8. Avoid telling the truth if it will inconvenience you. 9. If you did something wrong, tell people something that will avoid trouble or that it is the only option you had since "the Man" has kept you down. No, he could be hiding it... but to claim that he criticizes people who are black BECAUSE they are black is not supported. Beck seems to criticize anyone he disagrees with. I don't watch his (or anyones show) but I have seen him go off on Pelosi and Reid and last I checked they were not black. Cries of racism are often a tool for the weak who have nothing else to fall back on.... I think this is the case here as well. Yes, which is claiming one side is worse than the other. 100% pure partisan crap. Please show where you went off on Dems????? Anyone? Again, your ACTIONS speak much louder than your words. No I say you are incapable of pilot discussion without lame insults since (just in THIS thread): "And the fools think" "Boobs will claim" "old diapers Ronnie" "You must be unAmerican" "the devil known as Nixon. " "the idiots sit on the right side of the isle" "altho they usually spew hateful vile, you can't dismiss future idiotic things they might say based upon a mountain of previous idiotic things they've said" "The right is an ideology that is an inflexible state of being, the left is a very flexible set of ideals that can be molded." All lame insults, ALL aimed at one party. Like I said, you may try to claim that you are not partisan, but your ACTIONS all over this forum prove otherwise. Really, the best thing you can do is drop it. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

And I don't disagree... What I do disagree with is how you claim they are only on ONE side of the isle. This just shows you are pure 100% partisan and are unable to see anything else. You CLAIM to be for logic, you claim to not be biased... But your repeated actions show that is not true. What you do speaks so loud that I cannot hear what you say. -- Ralph Waldo Emerson And your use of insults shows you can't debate with logic and civility. Don't blame ME for pointing out YOUR actions. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

See you busted #'s 5, 10 AND 11.... Congratulations! You just proved you can't debate on facts and have to use insults. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Yes coming into a discussion and throwing a comment designed to only stir up trouble is both rude and shows you as being an instigator. Someone who is educated would know that. Giving you guys a book on manners would help a bunch as well. I'm sure about that. And as for Education.... you might want to check the PISA studies. In your opinion. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Can't help myself to notice from far away: Is there some correlation between being outside the US and being rude and an instigator? ROFLMAO "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Oh, I know... It is what he does when he knows he does not have the facts to fight fair. And they really are the same issue... He is just trying to get into a position to play stupid word games. It is what he does and the only way he knows how to have a "debate" But, stupid word games aside, he can't ignore the fact that Obama has stated several times that he wants to ban weapons, and he can't change the fact Obama has voted at every opportunity to ban normal citizens from having weapons. Multiple handgun purchases WILL require more paperwork. Long guns you can buy a crate at a time, and you can buy multiple pistols, but the FFL has to fill out a ATF Form 3310.4, Report of Multiple Sale or Other Disposition of Pistols and Revolvers, if you buy more than 2 handguns within 5 days. You can see the form here: http://www.atf.gov/forms/pdfs/f33104.pdf It is Title 27 PART 478 Subpart H § 478.126a Reporting multiple sales or other disposition of pistols and revolvers. Sure they are, by his own admission. That is *exactly* banning firearms that we can currently own. Again that is EXACTLY a ban. Again, he voted FOR a ban. He opposed a bill to allow the use of weapons to defend yourself. He is on record opposing the right to carry to defend yourself. Obama's meeting in Mexico April 16, 2009: Over and over he has stated he wants another ban.... How you could possibly think otherwise is amazing. It is called unintended consequences. Do you for a single second think he would NOT put a ban on semi automatic weapons in place if he could? You can't blame people for taking him at his word and looking at his history and expecting he would do more of it if he could get away with it politically. 1. People who claim to support the Constitution, yet ignore the 2nd Amendment. 2. People who bag on Reagan (or really anyone) and use lame insults like, "he was a wanna be John Wayne." Carter is a great MAN, but he was a lousy President... anyone remember the misery index? Anyone remember who created the Community Reinvestment Act? And yes, I'd say the same about a person who claimed Carter was a stupid pnut farmer... He was a Naval officer and he took graduate work in reactor technology and nuclear physics. 3. Anyone who believes anything Rachel Maddox, Randi Rhodes, Heck ANY single source of information to include Rush. 4. People in their 30's that don't see the importance of not giving away the store. 5. Anyone that thinks that only one side has cornered the market on idiots. 6. People who automatically claim anyone that disagrees with Obama is a racist. 7. People who love the National ACLU and ignore the fact that they don't recognize the 2nd as a right worthy of protection. 8. People who are willing to surrender other people rights against their will. People who are willing to spend other peoples money against their will. 9. People who try to claim that THEIR version of freedom is fine (say gay marriage), but that someone else's freedom (say of religion) is wrong. 10. People who can't distinguish bias from truth and think only ONE side has a market on slinging BS. 11. People who have to use insults and are unable to discuss subjects with facts. We only took him at his word: Obama's meeting in Mexico April 16, 2009: You can't blame us for thinking he would try to keep his word. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

RW suits are as unique as the people wearing them. The trick is to find an RW suit that you like.... And then hope that it can stand up to the abuse. I have had Tony's Merlin's, and Michigan's. I have jumped a bunch more to include Bevs, Star, Flightsuits....ect. Basically, you are going to have to pick the one YOU like. And most suits are going to be fine no matter what brand you decide on.... I'd personally go with a reputable dealer and then go after the best deal you can get.... It is not going to matter *that* much, and world class teams don't all jump one brand of suits. I personally like the Michigan's. There were some things I didn't like, such as the fact the arm grip design was hard to grip on some sidebody exits.... So I asked Mike and he made a new arm design. I like my Michigan suit, but I have friends that would swear on Bev's and others that swear on Tony's. I have a 10+ year old Michigan suit that has at least 1k jumps on it and 50 hours tunnel. It is mainly my Tandem suit now. I have attached a pic of me wearing it that is the header on a website. The kicker is that suit I am wearing is a Michigan suit.... But the header is at www.Tonysuits.com Oh the irony That pic on that website, got me a free Michigan suit BTW.... You base that on?!?!?!?!?!?!?! "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

It would help if you included more detail... Such as: 1. DZ 2. Number of jumps planned. 3. Plan on doing any tunnel? The more info you give, the better responses you are going to get. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

And for grins, 1. Put the ammo in another room. 2. Check it each time you pick it up. 3. Still never point it at anything you are not willing to destroy. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Or, is is because the down side makes them look stupid?

In most case the MPG difference is next to nothing. But please explain why it is logical to claim the Civic is the best selling car when only three are sold and there were 14 trucks sold? Will you start doing the same? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 -
That has never been your point.... If it was, you communicated it very poorly. You wrote: I showed that the Hybrid ADDS more pollution in production than a Hummer. You have defended this program without data, you have defended this program even when it was clear the data that the Govt DID present was incomplete, you defended this program even when you knew that the method used was not accurate. Check to pollution to build them... Do you dispute that? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Are you going to factor the cost of disposing of the hybrids battery when they die? Are you going to factor in the higher energy cost to build the hybrid? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
