There are probably a whole lot of different reasons all mashed in together: By not having anything good to say about an ex it may make you feel better and convince yourself and others that they were no good for you. It's kind of like implying that you seen them for what they really are and that your now wiser. And it's also washing your own hands of any resposibility of the failure of the relationship. Sometimes it's simply about anger, rejection and pain and trying to regain some self worth... Which can be easier to do by blaming it all on the ex. Personally, I'm with you... I don't have all bad things to say about exes... Although that may change in a few months when the divorce papers come through. BP

Yep, I wore a short sleaved shirt and draped the suit jacket over me cos my cast arms were to big to fit though the arms of the jacket. At the interview I had to complete a multiple choice aptitude test. I had to ask them to fill the forms out for me. BP

My GF's grandma You learn to do alot with your teeth dont ya That was the 2nd time I had done both arms. The 1st time I did it I had a job interview the next day, followed by jury service for 4 weeks. I did not get the job but I went down a storm in the courts. BP

Left little finger has been held on with 2 screws for 15 years. ...and after knarly get off at Glen Helen Raceway a few years back, I had a left wrist re-build. [plate, screws, pins, wire and a Bone replacement to the end of my Radius] I also broke the right one at the same time but no metal for that... although going to the toilet was difficult for a while. I think the issue for most jumpers just off of student status is that they dont have many options to jump with other people. Yes of course they can get coached jumps. But that is part of progressing and not every jump can be a coached. Choosing to skydive is a very individual thing. Not many people have existing friends who also come in to skydiving. You generally come to the DZ alone and to a newbie the DZ can seem full of skygods and cool established characters. And this group can can appear to be pretty tough to break in to to make friends and find people to FUN jump with. You could say that the bottom line is you have to get off your own ass and make friends. But the DZ crowd can be harsh and intimidating to some. At my DZ I try to talk and be open to talk to anyone. I think maybe if DZ's offered or promoted buddy up opportunitites it would help. What I mean by that is provide a list of people who are happy to jump with others including just off student status jumpers. It can be sooooo boring jumping on your own. BP
