Not sure what qualifies for a moderator on these forums, but i'm sure it's bound to be just a little bit of knowledge on the subject (sarcasm) but having myself had to jumpmaster a load numurous times if i felt something was wrong and stepped in front of jumpers to check, tough they will just have to accept it, as i'm sure if it is Billvon or any other qualified person will feel exactly the same. I'm sure the AFF-I/skydiver would have felt duely thankfull that someone had taken their saftey into consideration. goose491 get over it the dessert is a big place to land in and a little walk would have done you good anyway.

The only thing I would change or ask for is a little prayer to the weather gods before hand, to give us nice hot days for the duration of the boogie. Had an awesome time thanks Eloy

I would just like to say hello to all those cool people I met this year in Eloy, some of you really made it an awesome boogie and hope to see some of you again...

Ain't that the truth...

They should have all been coach jumps, you need it....

I've packed it this way once (180 twist) and it didn't cause a bag lock, and that was with a high wing loading.

Me too, there is no substitute

I agree totally with you, i did some coaching with Wolf ( Babylon) at Empuria and as good as he is he couldn't coach for sh*t, then i've had the pleasure of getting coach jumps with Max Cohn and Patrick (Generation freefly) and Max is awesome, had me doing stuff I didn't think I was at a level to do, but we made it look easy. If there are a few guys that are looking to do some coaching you can get Max to comeout to where you are and he will coach you, provided it fits in with his plans, but it will cost you. If you are planning to get some coachin at the Swedish Freefly festival next year, that's a good idea, becaus ethey have such a range of Coaches that they cater for everyones needs and skill level, coach jumps were not expensive either I think about SEK450.

Cheers dude, look forward to it

Will be indeed, but by then some more of the UK folk will be over. Look forwarding to getting some jumps

I'm coming over from about the 18th of Dec, and after just been dropped by one of my team mates will now consequently be coming over by myself . Will there be any freeflyers there about that time who wouldn't mind an extra tag along person on their jumps for about a week????

I've only ever Psycho packed myxfire2 and never had any problems.

They both looked good but when the did the back pose, Ronnie was just mind blowing. Gunter looked impressive for a change, and the Blonde Myth could only place 14th which was a big disappointment. Having Ronnie as as guvnor who would ever mess with him. That's why he was a good cop, would you ever back chat a man thats a solid 285lbs of pure muscle.
-
Looking at his pics he looked totally awesome, Jay was never going to get any where near him. Well done Ronnie

I transitioned from a Hornet 135 Loaded at I think it was about 1.6:1( more or less) to a xfire2 129 and I found the transition wasn't a problem at all. -
Reserve lineover, What will you do?
TattooedMoFo replied to drenaline's topic in Safety and Training
No problem, that's why i posted in HookKnife thread that Billvon should interact here and give proper advice and guidelines on a procedure that may be adhered to, esp. for newbies who don't get the neccessary traing on when and when not to use a knife. -

Reserve lineover, What will you do?
TattooedMoFo replied to drenaline's topic in Safety and Training
Actually, he said he WOULDN'T use his hook knife on his main unless he was too low to cutaway. I had a hard time understanding your post (especially the first sentence... though I think you're implying that Mike is wrong, yet you then go on to agree with him), and I'm not sure WTF you're talking about when you refer to a "main reserve." Unless you have backup reserves... Firstly , a typo on the main reserve should have deleted Main there, my mistake, but becareful when flamming out of hand... For you i'll put it in a an easy to understand way. Never use a hook knife on a Main canopy to cut a line on a line over malfunction, except to cut a riser that may still be attached after you have cut it away, or any other similar situation that may warrant it. So here Mike was wrong and i don't agree at all with him on that. Why would he be to low to cut away???? That would happen if if was trying to cut a line over malfunction out. Have a malfunction cutaway....it not rocket science. ( no offense to you Mike)
