For the Body Builders/Weight Lifters out there.....
TattooedMoFo replied to jkm2500's topic in The Bonfire
Sorry but at a struggle someone would gain 15lbs of solid muscle in a year, there is no way in hell some would gain 15lbs in a month. (15lbs would not even be possible on steriods) Almost all of you gains there would have been water or fat, especially when useing Creatine, it forces the body to hold so much water. -
Jerrys smiling because you gave him one Will, he had a someone new for a change.

Also make sure you get a good nights sleep 8hrs is good. Didn't mention supplements as this varies person to person. I've used Creating as a cycle 1 month on 2 months off. General vitamin supplements are a good idea, and i have also had good results using Glutamine, works in conjunction of protein breakdown and absorption into the body. -
Yeah if we SA folk make fun of you, 9/10 it means we like you. It's a very abusive humor lifestyle

I would change your traing program for a start, a go onto a 4 day split, training only once a day. As for diet, 6-8 meals a day (roughly every 3 hours) need to be consuming about 3500 - 4500 calories a day, protein should be roughly 1- 1/2 grams per kilogram or 2.2 LBS of body weight. Protein intake should be staggered throughout the day, as the body can only absorb about 30grams of protein at any one time, rest is usually wasted . This could go on for hours, but not knowing you body type, age, strenths , weakenesses etc etc, this is the standard guideline for weight gain. For a source of the best body building info, www.bodybuilding.com , make sure you check out the section Popular Message boards, world of information there, you can't go wrong. QuoteI have to make a slight addition to this one (sorry babe hehe) Nipples - Painlevel 3475689123745 - I thought I'd been hit by a bus when I had my first one done. I actually got cold sweats and ended up having to go outside the piercing place to vomit. reply] I agree with you, it wasn't pleasant at all, wasn't as bad as wheni had 1 of them ripped, but i was a little drunk when that happened. -
Next time you speak to Skreamer tell him, "jou ma niegh vir viskoppe " lol, may need a spell check, been just a few years since I actually had to write something in Afrikaans

Fairly big pieces ( not sure what you constitute as big) 1/2 to 3/4 of biceps, half of back, many years back. Left arm pic has since been completed and looks a lot better than the pic now, don't have an updated one. -
I had them just before the boogie, fortunately 3 weeks off has healed them up nicely. Only bit*h is getting back into the traing, everything else hurts like hell now.
-
On a similar note , wait till you get a similar thing in your forearms, any of the weight lifters on the boards can attest to that, that hurts and takes slightly longer to heal.
-
I've got enough, well no I don't still a few more to get , but a tattoo I think should in a way be reflective of you. I would never get a tattoo design from a book at a studio or tattoo book, every other person will have the same one, and i'd never have someones name tattooed on me. The right tattoo on a girl , awesome, definite turn on.

No quick heal methods, it's already been said but run on soft grass, check your shoes for you r body type,( to0 hard and you are jarring the body), Good stretching before and after run, slow warm up run before you get into your training. Cold bath or chill out in the pool for 10 -15min afterwards, or an ice pack. Don't use the heat rubs, ibuprofen gels things like are good. They are painful and will take a little while to heal. Good luck

The cling film should only remain on the tattoo for up to two hours after you leave the studio with it fresh. If you cover it up you do not allow it to breath. This can cause nasty infections in some people because of the inability for toxins to escape and breath through the skin. reply] From personal experiance never had that problem, always kept them as moist as possible, no infections, no colour degradation, and i've had just a few done. All to their own i suppose. I've tattoo studios sell all sorts of sh*t creams and ointments which are really bad, and these are the people ho should know best. -
Our pleasure. Glad you liked it so much. Staying on our doorstep is always free. Let me know how it works out

I would do the Tattoo aftercare in a different way: Try keep the tattoo moist for up to 36 hours after work (depends on size small ones don't bother) cling film is good for this , with a Antibacterial cream layered over it. Don't use anti. creams or solutions that contain any form of alcohol in it, dries it out to quick. Use a face sponge ( very soft) and wash the tattoo properly ( don't rub excessively or to hard), if you are using antibacterial cream and it isn't washed off the tattoo properly this can still cause infection. Washing properly removes evrything. Keep applying a cream to it to keep it moist for as long as possible, helps the ink settle properly. By washing it properly and not letting blood dry on it etc , you help prevent scabs from forming( yes there will be some , but will be only small) no scabs = lesser chance of infection from picking at it etc. It's good to use a Anti. cream in the later stage with E45 in , helps it heal nicely, although I have always used Savlon cream and this is great. Used to be able to get Nelsons healing ointment which was fantastic (sadly havn't seen it in a while) which had a honey base to it and kept the tattoo moist for a long while, healing properties of the honey in it were great as well, all natural. -
