    This rig is bulletproof. Extremely comfortable and very nice overall construction. The upper harness holds onto you very well, so well in fact that sometimes on a cramped otter I can feel the hard cable housings poking me in the arms. The trulock toggles are the best I've seen but don't leave them to your packer, most of them are confused by them. The riser covers can be a little finicky, at least on my rig, on the ground. They've never opened in freefall but one side doesn't seem to 'seat' quite right. RWS' master rigger looked at it and said it was the reserve pack job though, so we'll have to see if it's the same after my next repack. Other than that, highly recommended. Haven't had a chance to try the skyhook yet, but it seems like a great advance in RSL technology. I'll update here if (when?) I have to use it. In the gigantic size I bought (v358M) it's a heavy rig, but with 455SqFt of canopies in it, that's hardly RWS' fault.

    Digitudes work great, if you're good at digital displays. Most people prefer either analog or digital because they're 'used to' one or the other and so they can read it faster. Most people are analog babies, I'm a Digital Kid myself. Another option (although they're pricey and still working out the bugs) is the Neptune; digital but with a larger display than the digitude. (and you get the pro-track like data recording features too). If you prefer analog, look for one with a less cluttered face; they'll read easier. Although I'm not a big fan of analog, the Saphire seems to have a cleaner and larger face than the Altimaster3, although the Altimaster 2 is a good choice as well; check your local gear store and see what you think. 7CP#1 | BTR#2 | Payaso en fuego Rodriguez "I want hot chicks in my boobies!"- McBeth

    Sounds like a sweat rash (technically called Miliaria). That's not uncommon in hot/humid weather, mountain bikers get 'em all the time, especially if they have sensitive skin. Try wearing a t-shirt made of something that breathes and wicks better than plain cotton (Coolmax is very good) and see if it doesn't go away (or get substantially reduced). If it doesn't, get it checked out by a doctor. I think nylon allergies are extremely rare.
