  1. Frenchy I have a complaint. She doesn't know anything about prostates. This is important male issues, and I don't feel comfortable talking about prostates with the likes of her traipsing aroung here in the "MENS ONLY FORUM"
  2. My thoughts are if you don't have a prostate or you havn't massaged one then "SCRAM!!!" This isn't the uterus forum
  3. What do you think about prostate massage?
  4. Well if we are in the mens forum, and we have been doing is chasing the chicks away. I suggest we talk about mens stuff. Prostate Massage
  5. Check it... The atmoshpere is not a constant enviroment. It is always changing from many factors. A lot of those factors can not be seen with the human eye. The biggest thing I see people doing on landing is... just flaring. They do this mechanical motion of facing into the wind and bringing their arms down, and they expect that is supposed to give them good landings. Unfortunately this will never be the case, as the atmosphere is constantly changing. You need to constantly fly your canopy through the flare. True the flare in it's simplist form is the mechanical motion of bringing your toggles down, but if you break it down into several parts then you will find that to do it properly, it is much more complex. You say "Flared and got pushed into a turn by winds on landing." I say that you didn't correct for the winds with your flare. You can do this by ever so slightly flaring more on the side that the wind is blowing from. If you are still being forced to turn, then make more input to counteract what the wind is doing to you. You say "Flared and got picked up and dropped down by winds." I say you flared and held what you had. This will pick you up, especially if you flared to fast or to much for the wind conditions. Now you find yourself high over the ground with no flare left. This can be remedied by only flaring as much as you need to keep your feet an inch off the ground for as long as possible. This may not be the typical flare where you just bring your arms down in one motion. You may reach a point in your flare that you don't need to flare any more for a second or two, and then you will need to finish your flare. Some people call this "the two stage flare". I absolutly abhore that term. There is nothing two staged about a flare. When done properly, a flare is a continual flying of the canopy, while adding more lift. I like to call it a "Dynamic Flare". Don't get down on yourself, about your landings. You must continually seek improvement. You can do this through coaching. Be carefull whom you get your coaching from, as there are many people who will open their yaps just to hear themselves speak, but will tell you bad information. Grant
  6. How about " Have you found my dignity down there?" Or "Can you write a certified note to my wife, telling her that my head isn't actually up there?"
  7. If you guys are looking at the harness and lines then your geeks and possibly gay. I didn't really notice all that stuff.
  8. It's usually cold on porn sets, and they usually don't have clothes on to keep them warm. That's why they may be a bit smaller than you.
  9. aff + the coach program put out reasonably skilled skydivers - but pays - at least for me - to little attention on canopy skills. Is canopy flight not as improtant as freefall if not more so? Your instructors could have focused more on the canopy controll aspect, but did they? This brings me back to my point. Instructors are not focusing enough on canopy control.
  10. Here we go... This was out at Canon City, Co. One of the tandem masters got a hari up his ass to try and organize a fun jump load. The plan was for an 8 way or something like that. I got put on as a diver to the formation, so I'm sitting in right pilot seat (it's turned to face aft) in the caravan. It comes jump time, and everyone goes. I stayed and talked to the pilot for about 8 more seconds, and then hauled ass down to the formation. The tandem master / shitty organizer and someone else were on their backs spinning with about 5 other people watching. About 8k they gotr their shit together, and people started to dock. Two dudes were low, so I flew down to one of them. John was trying his best to get back up to the formation, but it just wasn't working (have you ever had days like that?). I went to John, slapped him on the ass and then floated into the formation to take a grip right before breakoff time. I then turned and burned!!! It was a fun jump, and John has gotten much better at floating. Grant
  11. There are many cesna models that have Retractable Gear (RG's) 172 RG 182RG 210RG (a 206 w/ RG I have several jumps out of one). The aircraft pictured is a cesna product.
  12. Dude it's your listed jump numbers and your wing loading.
  13. Colorado swoop distance record 402' set in May CPC event.
  14. Damn Ray that was funny!! How's it going for you in FL? Are you competing in the CPC stuff?
  15. Have you ever noticed that some of your nastier setups sometimes do pretty well?
  16. When I did my 2.3, I hit the gates, and started the carve, and I thought to myself "If I don't get this canopy over I'm going to hit the exit gate" CRANK it over and got out clean. It felt really dirty, but it was pretty fast. Grant
  17. Hell you did 2.1 on the 185' speed course. You should be able to drop that a little. I'm flying 2.3-2.4 and I'm flying a velo 103. You are flying a much smaller wing, so you should beable to get some more speed, than me!!! BTW Great job on the 2.1. That's hauling ass.
  18. Go buy a lottery tick too!!! Congrats.
  19. Jump with an evaluator. Get your coach rating, and practice teaching as much as you can.
