In response to your post about the "Chair Force", all of the cadet from the Air Force Academy jump Eiff Classic's. I think you would be hard pressed to find a time in collegiate history, where the USAFA Cadets didn't dominate the collegiates. As for "hookin' it" these canopies are not designed to dive or turn at a high rate of speed. If you look at then in full flight, most of the steering lines cause deflection to the tail. These are "Sky Yachts".

why aren't wingsuits made with a larger surface area?

Chuck, What's your thoughts on cross bracing the wings, or possibly, an inflatable spar. Maybe, the spar would be a little more difficult to collapse, but I think it could be done!!! A more rigid wing produces a cleaner airfoil, and a cleaner airfoil produces more lift. I'm no Aero Major, but these thoughts came to me after a pretty righteous fart. Spizzzarko -
Dudes, BPS, this is a sad state of affairs when we work in the same building, but I have to post to talk to you!!! Just kidding... I'm glad you are enjoying your suit.
