  1. 5 years ago when I was working at the AF Academy, We had a cadet fall inbetween a glider and the tow plane as he was deploying. The left glider wing hit the canopy as it was deploying, and melted some of the f-111 to the wing. The glider pilots thought they hit a bird and detached from the tow plane and went and landed. The cadet didn't realise the situation had even happened, and landed his main, and went up to his next class. The next day he came back down and told us he had ripped his canopy. There was some of the yellow paint from the glider on his canopy too. The glider people thought they had just hit a big ass bird, as it wrinkled some skin on the leading edge of the left wing. There was a small piece of F-111 still melted to the leading edge of the wing. God loves Air Force Cadets.
  2. Check it, A lot of newbies to the sport are in a real big rush to go out and try everything all at once. If your friend is heel bent on killing himself, then there is nothing you can do to stop him. He will figure it out when there is titanium in his leg or worse.
  3. Sorry Dude, That looked like a bag of pot at first glance. I'm not insinuation anything though.
  4. I knew a gay guy in California. His name was James, and he was a great guy. He was a good jumper too, but I havn't jumped back in Ca for years, so I'm not to sure if he's still around.
  5. Rigs dry out quick if you go back up and jump it really fast!
  6. But they are for horses! They may not taste that good. I bet horses like them though.
  7. I like my advil in the liquid form called Sam Adams Boston Lager.
  8. Yes as far as the beer thing goes, I will definatly work hard on drinking that case of beer tonight. That reminds me, I need to go out and get some more beer!!! 9. I feel that Democracy allows no part of government to really move very quickly. Especially with our two party system here in the US. I feel that maybee it isn't always the right thing to make law what the popular sentiment is at the moment. Look at prohibition. I think that is what happened there. So back to the question, How would you change america's legal system? I think that in cases such as the MJ case, or the OJ case, maybe it would be practical that both the prosecution and the defense be appointed by the court. These people would have to be of course completely non partial.
  10. I'm just wondering if the homosexual overtones are causing more of an uproar in this media circus. I feel it is equally as bad to look at any child in such a manner. I know we are in a better time, and I am thankfull for that.
  11. I've been called an ass twice in 1 hour. I amaze myself sometimes Yes you are doing rather well today. Thanks for frequenting my thread and keeping it somewhat alive. This is the First thread I have started that has been sticky and gone over 100 posts. I'm really rather proud, but I owe some of it to you. Grant
  12. I'm not familiar with this? So you get the famous: Como say Huh?
  13. If you want it to be, then go ahead and chime in. the question to this evenings debate is: "If America's legal system is not perfect, but it's the best we have, how would you change it?"
  14. Is it because he's looking at a child with lust, or is it even more that he is loking at a male child with lust. Look at the Roman's many of them took boy's. I'm definatly not defending it, I'm just stating that times have changed, as society looked at it then as acceptable, and now it is abominable.
  15. All of this is begging the question, If our system is not perfect, then what can we do to make it better? Lawrocket I pass it off to you first, then Billvon you get it next, and after Bill, I would like to hear from Lisa, and last but not least Frenchy.
  16. Lisa, Was his mental state called into question in the trial? Was he accused if being deranged? As far as the accuser goes... Maybe he was molested, maybe he wasn't. If he was I hope that he is able to get over this entire thing, and lead productive and fruitfull life. If it's still money that he want's, I think there is still plenty out there for him to reap. If he signed a book deal tomorrow and got it out there fast while the focus is still on the case, then he might still beable to get some money from this if that is what they want or are after. If not, then maybee they can drag something out in a civial case. Lawrocket may be able to expound upon this.
  17. What about the possibility of a non guilty person being executed?
  18. It kind of looks like a tumor... (Arnold Voice) "It's Not a TUMOR" Keith did you get my pm?
  19. Even though there were multiple accusations again MJ, it doesn't always make them true. I have been accused of farting in the jump plane multiple times. It doesn't mean that I was the one continuosly ripping ass (besides I know my own brand better than anyone else).
  20. There's no way you are going to come to MY home and take the money that I deserve! hahahahaaaaa It would be cool to see you. Take it easy, and I'll chat with you later. Grant
  21. That's kind of humorous. You said it not I!
  22. Yall's course looks really wide, or is that the camera angle?
  23. That came from the horses mouth folks (or at least the lawyers mouth).
