  1. And that made you ? How so? I had a dealer start me off with a free dime bag. . .
  2. So . . . that's a picture of something fun you've been doing?? Man, there's gonna be a lotta jealous ladies in the BF tonight.
  3. Boy, that's right. That's why I shop around, ask for discounts and freebies thrown in. If some vendor ever chewed me out for asking for a discount or courtesy freebie, they'd never see my $$$ again.
  4. Could be. Sounds like a pretty false economy to me if that's it. Any other ideas, anyone?
  5. Damn, that would have sucked. Glad you popped up and he ducked.
  6. But if you start dealing it (instructing) you get a lot of it for free. Don't know much about Vitamin C, but I know skydiving is worth every dime.
  7. Go ahead and start dieting and jumping now. As you lose weight it will just get easier and easier. But you're no way too big.
  8. It's not about what they like, it's about what the jumpers need and the safety margin flaps give you. Wow, sounds like poor planning from the start. Either the Beech should have been lead or the Caravan should have nailed a speed the Beech could fly at. That $hit is super dangerous. Glad we didn't read about it in the paper.
  9. The guy sounds like he shouldn't be flying jumpers. I'd like to hear his reason why no flaps. I can't think of any.
  10. Door off, rag wings, stick and rudder, now that's real flying. Looks fun.
  11. Does zee beautiful girl come with zee bike? Hey, I had the carpal surgery on my right hand. Easy stuff; you'll heal quickly.
  12. She is SO much hotter than you. Yeah, and you know how much I hate that!
  13. I've always liked "Like a monkey trying to f#@k a football" as an expression for a lot of work projects.
  14. You've done BASE, so I think you'll be fine. I jumped from a powered ultralight years ago and many hovering helos. As you know, 6-7 seconds out your almost 90% terminal. You should have plenty of air. I like the idea of the mech. alti. Pretty fool proof.
  15. Ahh, the birth of freefly, the tie dye, the sit suits, the frap hats. I remember all that. Wow, what a steep learning curve back then.
  16. All good advice. Make sure you're not over higher terrain when you calculate your altitude.
  17. And when men speak their mind, they're being authoritative. . . When women speak their minds, they're being bitches. . . Sorry, ladies, ya just can't win.
  18. Man, you guys get the bad T-storms down in FL, don't you? I'm always impressed by them when we visit. Glad you were able to pick your way to the demo. Those controllers must have been pretty busy that day.
