  1. The Jocks are now mowing lawns for the Dorks.
  2. It's where people go to waste an hour or two every morning.
  3. We just got home from a road trip, doing 2 days of tandems up in Oak Harbor, WA at Jet City Skydiving. Time to update the list. Grimmie's sending us 4 jump tickets for his DZ, Tsunami Skydiving in San Diego. After much consideration, I decided on 2 packs of two tickets each. Sound okay, Rich?
  4. So, 2 PAC's are in the draw now too? :-D That would be cool. Hey everyyone, we're on the road this weekend. I will get the list updated Sunday morning and all the emails answered then. Sky diving on Whidbey island.
  5. Thanks. And since you own a DZ, you could use 2 of everything we got.
  6. Damn, that's rough. Thanks for posting that link for Steve.
  7. Life changes, the world whirls around, we spin thru space and leave behind memories. But there's still lots of good memories to be made at LP. Why don't you join us there?
  8. One of our best supporters over the year, Sunrise Manufacturing, sent us 2 Gift Certificates for 50% off retail base on a Custom Wings Container! Thanks, Tony Hathaway. We really appreciate it. That's right, 2 chances to win! Krisanne, I'll see you at LP for your tickets. Anyone else going to LP may certainly look us up there and get some tickets from us. Feel free to check out our website at LeapforLupus.org. You can even buy tickets online there if you prefer. Here's the revised list.
  9. The guys on here aren't that scary, are they? Heck, you're all the way up in AK.
  10. Ha. That's our base. Seriously, I'd rather our dry-ish heat than your guys' humidity. Pass. We're in the low 70's today. On the downside though, it's pretty cloudy til noon.
  11. That's not the train pic. Cute, but not the same.
  12. So, ya gonna post that pic of you driving the train?
  13. All my repacks, packing and licenses, Class 3 medical, mileage to the DZ is all tax deductible, I know. If I could write off beer, I'd be a multi-millionaire.
  14. Should have thrown a WDI first. Years ago our jump club did a candy drop at an outdoor festival. As the 206 flew over the field, about 90 mph and 100 or so feet up, the jumper in the door accidentally dropped the entire bag of candy at once. I held my breath as it hit the ground and exploded like a Jolly Rancher claymore, spraying all the kids running to it with sweet, high speed candy. Luckily there were no major injuries.
  15. New item for the raffle. A coupon for a custom NoSto Bag from Aerosports USA. Thanks, Jerry. Here's the revised list.
  16. I loved driving in France. I took the train in Italy. Those Vespa drivers are suicidal.
  17. Nice rig for taking to Powell. Good times.
  18. Adequate power, nice handling, very ergonomic inside. I have a lot of fun driving it. Bit of a blind spot to the rear and road noise is a little high on some of the crap freeways we have here. 44-ish mpg combined. Great little car for two people and a couple of suitcases.
  19. Well this is actually Vskydiver's car, not mine, but I get to drive her everywhere in it. Your truck is cool, but I could certainly lose you in the corners. . . Of course, you could ditch me off road, so I guess we're even. Right now I don't even own a car. I'm still busy with so much real estate stuff I'm chugging around in our old minivan, full of lawn equipment, tools, etc. When I get a couple of houses sold and my life slows down I intend to go car shopping.
  20. Thanks to all of you who PM'd last night. Info is on the way. Please feel free to visit our website at LeapforLupus.org. There's lots of info, links and pics of what we've been up to.
