I'd have to ask why or what the person is doing. IMO, What is 'unsafe practices' for a newbie, can be quite fun for an experienced jumper.

yea, I must be..the guy only has over 10,000 jumps and almost 1000 intentional cutaways...what the hell was I thinking?? But, hey...maybe things have changed....I haven't seen or spoken to him in 2 years...the last time he was at The Ranch....

That's funny...cause I believe it was Billy Webber who was doing the intentional cutaways for the tension knot demonstrations....and as of 2 years ago he told me he had over 750 intentional cutaways. hummmm. Edit: Billy Webber was also a test jumper for PD at one time. Don't know if he is anymore though.

I've been to Pepperell for the New England boogie and I'm going again this year. I thought that DZ was awesome!!! Everyone there was great! However, I've never been to Jumptown so my view is one-sided.

My information was from Nancy LaRiviere who was/is? the general manager of Jump Shack. In 1997 her credentials were: Tandem JM/IE 4000+ jumps...and in an interview she showed exactly how they can happen. She was also part of R&D for a malfunction video where they showed actual demonstrations of the tension knot malfunction.

I LOVE naked skydives!!! I did my first naked skydive on my first jump off student status, to celebrate....in student gear!!!hehe My second was in the middle of winter in the snow. My friend and I were climbing in the cessna and she asked me if I'd like to do a naked jump with her (it was her first)..Of course I said yes. After all, I LOVE naked jumps. We asked the pilot to fly around a bit while we took our clothes off.....He excitedly said yes...Next thing I knew, we were hangin' on the strut and away we went....After we landed, the pilot flew just above us and dropped out our clothes...Very funny and a shit load of fun! Edit: Did my first one on video....I've learned since then and will not do naked jumps on video. Things flap all over hte place and it's not pretty.
