Can you read or do you not want to see... I asked you if they were proven to be innocent due to overwhealming evidence that somebody else did it (wink wink, think NEOCON adgenda!), would you still want them killed? Have you chosen the Judgment before the trial? is that what you believe in? they say they did it but where is the real evidence? You're a genious bro! So if he is proved innocent even though he is admitting guilt, via overwhealming evidence that they did not do it. That would be bad? Do you simply want closure without justice? or do you want plain old justice? "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix -
Giuliani: 9/11 Trials in NYC Will Lead to More Terrorism

Differences of opinion aside, these people were tortured by the us government, reputedly waterboarded up to 183 times... Now if someone is wholeheartedly confessing to such a crime, why would waterboarding be necessary? It can never be confirmed beyond reasonable doubt now, that these guys are actually responsable, torture is enough for the case to be thrown out is it not? The actions of those that ordered the torture of these men is unlawful and this trial will end up as a a trial to expose the real truths, of the American Terrorists. I am glad, so much speculation and assumtion and bullshitting has gone down since 9/11 from both sides of the story. This trial will be one of the testing trials of the legal system of the united states of america. What happened at GTMO or what ever you abbreviate it as, will be exposed and used as evidence as all that is in the past now... I bet Rudy Giuliani and his corrupt neo con mates will be shitting their pants. Of course they are against the decision to have the trial there. Rudy Giuliani Seems Quite Concerned About NYC 9/11 Trial -clicky- How many years do you think this is going to take? This portion should say; There is no reason why the NZPIA couldn't charge an annual fee, and have an expiry on the licences. This would make them more acceptable, and they could either keep the money for profit or donate it to the NZPF ns a tax deductible donation.. The can of worms is open, so I’ll explain my viewpoint. When I first started skydiving in 2002, the NZPIA had just been formed to separate the industry from the sport. The rapidly growing industry and its paperwork was becoming a hindrance to the NZPF so the NZPI was formed. Initially skydivers would have their licences issued through the NZPIA as they obtained the part 149. So you would pay an initial fee to the NZPIA for your license or rating and then an annual fee to the NZPF... Then as you mentioned somebody took the system to the commerce commission, and it turns out that it is against the law for a company (NZPIA) to force an individual to become a member of a bonafide non profit society (NZPF)... This ended up meaning that the NZPF membership was optional and the NZPIA licence was valid indefinitely without expiry or fees?!?!?! WTF To make the matters worse, at least one of the directors of the NZPIA, namely Lindsay Williams instructed all the staff of his high profile drop zone 'NOT' to pay their NZPF fees because they do not have to... essentially losing thousands of dollars of income to the NZPF I'll point out how absurd this is. A director of the NZPIA tells 20+ skydivers not to pay their annual fee to the NZPF . The NZPF holds a 50% share in the NZPIA?!?! It is blatant monopolisation, it is illegal and the CAA knows this, this is why the CAA has allowed additional part 149's to be issued. That coupled with underpaid pilots flying for far too many hours only having breaks for fuel loads at the busy multi million dollar drop zones all allowed because the aircraft is classed as private, owned and operated by the same NZPIA directors that oversee their own actions… The directors of the governing body of skydiving 'ARE' the owners of the current major drop zones so they dictate who can and can't start new operations, they oversee and audit their own operations, and they charge absolutely nothing to retain a licence or rating??? What is all this madness, why on earth would a company, not charge fees when they can and should... My wife almost couldn't jump at a Hercules boogie in Uruguay because her NZPIA licence did not have an expiry. It cost her thousands of dollars to get there and pay for it but her NZPIA licence was not recognised... …fortunately she could get a FAI sporting licence through an aero club, what do the NZPIA care? They need to be un-assembled and another single part 149 that is independent from any drop zone should be established and the focus should be re establishing a healthy sport skydiving population in New Zealand. Currently it is a handful of people sharing the profits of tens of millions of dollars. They are not being nice by not charging an annual fee, they are making sure the NZPF remains a skeleton just to prop up the Part 149 that they have. Ther is no reason why the NZPIA couldn't charge an annual fee, and have an expiry on the licences. This would make them more acceptable, and they could either keep the money for profit or donate it to the NZPIA ns a tax deductible donation.. The NZPIA directors are too blatant to hide the real motives behind their actions. They have had it too easy for too long and have made millions of dollars, it is about high time something happened to change the situation! For similar reasons all NZ drop zones will all have to have a part 135 also, this is only because the NZPIA 'took the piss' for so long. More red tape for everybody because someone got too greedy.... That is why it is important for him to make the decision that helps his long term goals. he has inhereted this mess from warmongers that showed little respect for human life and US international relations. it will take some time to work out the repercussions of each manoever. this seems to be where america has lacked in the past so it is abreath of fresh air to see a US presedent not look like a puppet of the arms manufacturers. terrific! it seems the dutch have had good progress there, my father is an ex green beret commando and has access to thier information. thay are much more covert about it. Maybe the US military could take some lessons? "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix -

I disagree, it shows he is standing by his commitment to 'change'. It shows great leadership and that he is being rational and tactical whilst improving the foreign opinion of the US miltary. The US's tendency to go in a 'schmoke em out' without thought in the past, is what has created more long term problems than it has solved. If the republicans were in, lockheed martin and other such entities would be rubbing thier hands together. Obama really does 'seem' to be a man of his word. But more time is needed to know for sure. Wow, That is quite a good answer to all the shenanigans that is going on with the New Zealand part 149/license issuing. Although many may think the NZPIA rating is the most accepted, it is the NZPIA that created this absurd situation where there are various part 149 issuers in the country. This is debarcle has been heading ina dowward spiral ever since the NZPIA was formed. It is not the fault of the parachute school that the NZPIA has tried to crush sport skydiving in New Zealand, because that is what the case is here. The NZPIA has purposly been set up to hinder the growth of sport skydiving and give the NZPIA tandem skydiving factories the control of the industry without the burden of those pesky skydivers... I thinkit is great the school has broken away from the NZPIA. The sad thing is the the NZPF is still 50% shareholder of the NZPIA. and it has been set up to give the NZPF nothing, it is just propped up as a skeleton to keep the NZPIA afloat. Quite sad really. Now it is even more difficult for sport skydivers visiting new zealand, multiple licenses may be needed to jump at a couple of DZ's!!! When the American people can embrace the change Obama wishes for, he can then make such changes. With such violent opposition from a huge proportion of the population, it is a tug of war for him. He has to tread lightly while moving as fast as he can. Your country and the world is not in depression, the economy is beginning to flourish again... ...such violent opposition to his actions earlier on in the piece were in vain I suppose? In a few years electric motors will be more popular than internal combustion, thew gas generator will still be around for a while but oil, is not necessary. It is not necessary but it has remained prominent due to monopolies and greed, this greed is currently transferring its efforts into establishing a way to sell this power to the people. Oil is so ingrained in our society, it will take many decades or centuries to become obsolete but in time it will. Synthetic oil will only be profitable while demand is high, once a replacement is established the demand will decline, and the price will drop... This is not Obamas job, His job is to keep your country working, it is the job of the American people to pull their heads in and change for themselves. Big cars and big houses and big meals and big drinks and big estates means a wast of resources and uneven distribution of wealth. The suggested 'American Dream' is the real culprit. It was established by those that make all the cash and your desires are laid out for you. It is not possible for 300 million people to have such lavish properties and live as easy as the American dream requires. Companies will provide for you what you desire, it is in their best interests to make the easiest thing and make you want it more than the more difficult thing. The people hold the real power, but the influence of those that wish to persuade you to desire their product is overwhelming in most cases. Combined with similar influences from self proclaimed Illuminati, the evil and greedy have the world eating out of the palm of their hand. Obama has managed to keep the USA out of the shit, so far... Now do your part... "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix

You are replying to these words; If you think killing innocent people with the same cuture as those that you are trying to rid yourself of, will help your cause? Then you are an idiot! Many people would support the telaban, alqueda and any other such organisation through the propoganda they would be giving the people around them. The use of heave force against innocent victims, by the supposed 'good guys' only enforces the beleifs of those that follow such organisations. If they saw peace and resolution in the actions of those that are supposed to be helping them, they would be more inclined to point the finger at the true 'bad guys', but if you only destroy their very existance into turmoil, they will see you as the bad guy. Pretty basic stuff really, but when you head is full of anxiety... The redneck way has proved itself over and over again to be more of a burden than a resolution yet you still cling on to you desire to be that way. Quite foolish indeed! The question should really be, how much of the total known crude oil reserves are in Iranian territory. And why if the USA consumes 25% of the earths energy supply, are they not trading with Iran As explained in this story from a couple of years ago You still need it more than they do. What a laugh, are you implying that natural recourses and the US control over them has never had anything to do with a war that has been invoked by the US military? And are you also claiming that US military penises have never sodomised the orifices of the unwilling? You are in a dream world buddy! This is a long story I cannot bare to enter right now but there is a lot of history between World War 2 and the present. Normal everyday USA has not had the pleasure of a full scale invasion, yet. But it sure seems it wishes only for that to happen? Yeah nice quote buddy! maybe you could make a million selling bumper stickers to right wing selfish cunts. You may be happy being above your canopy in a whippy turn, I like to be flying with my risers only ever using my toggles for flaring or saving myself. With all the forward speed you inevitably get with a steeper trim, you get a really different kind of flight than that of a flat trimmed elliptical wing. It is true you need big steep mountains to do that type of flying but New Zealand has these places. I do appreciate the capabilities of paragliders and speed flying wings, but I have thousands of skydives and only hundreds of Ground launches using only parachutes. After much consideration the GLX130 is still the one for me. I jump a JVX 79 while skydiving so it will be much slower than what I am used to but plenty fast enough, especially across wind . I have played with trimming parachutes by adding an extra set of links on the rear risers for more speed in skydiving and on the front risers for flatter glide for ground launching. I'll see how I go when I get my GLX, I'm fortunate to have affiliation with NZAEROSPORTS - clicky through skydiving, as the GLX ‘is’ more expensive than other wings but it is still the original. It is still the only cross braced wing specifically for foot launching on the market, besides one other that is a copy of a JVX. The GLX also is the best wing that suits my specific needs; parachutes get destroyed fast as ZP is not so resilient in the hills. It will also keep me safer in my endeavours while participating as it flys the same as what I am used to… I'm sure over time paragliders will want to go faster and their wings will be trimmed steeper etc. Skydivers/swoopers and paragliders will learn a lot from each other and different new disciplines will be suited to the different styles. I anticipate many paragliders (down the track) taking up skydiving purely for swooping/speed initially. Regulation of this new sport is also in its infancy but once it is well established I'm sure it will see an onslaught of new participants from paragliders, skydivers, skiers, snowboarders and any other adventure seeker. As far as lower harness attachment points go, I haven’t played with them much yet. You are correct I have always used parachuting harnesses. It seems to me, the higher attachment points would be more suited to skiing? I am yet to have the pleasure of speed 'riding', Always foot launched, although I antcipate it is not so far away until I am hooked. I now have a nice harness specific for ground launching which is really nice. GLH Systems - clicky They are built with skydivers in mind… So now I can play with the different attachment points . I guess in the end there still ‘is’ a difference between ground launching and speed flying? The paragliding communities will have to show some leeway towards experienced skydivers. For sure the basics of inflating and kiting and all the fundamentals are already established within the paragliding community and some sort of regulation is needed for the benefit of the long term progress of the sport. A paragliding licence should be required but a full progression through large docile paragliding wings that pose more of a threat to skydivers than faster wings of which they are familiar with, should not! The parachute I am using for skydiving is too small for GL as it would need a very steep mountain indeed to be launched in little wind. What seems really fast for paragliders may seem docile to some experienced skydivers. It is a problem for those that were initially doing this (bored skydivers) through the differences in the licensing systems, it would suck for skydivers to get the raw end of the stick for having the audacity of developing the sport in the first place. We all have different needs but are essentially going through the same processes, it is quite a remarkable parallel indeed. I cannot believe how narrow minded and stupid some people can be, there is such thing as diplomacy, respect and peace. People with war monger attitudes such as this are the reason a country like Iran would need to have a reason to arm themselves with such weapons. They (Iran) are the ones with the resource you (USA) want and they would like to sell it to you. Why would they want to lose thier best customer? only if that customer wishes to steal those goods! A few rebellious rogue ‘gangs’ make terrorists attacks against you, seemingly justified by the complete lack of compassion on the behalf of the US people the US military has had over the last number of decades. Families broken, killed, maimed, disabled, tortured, you name it it's been done by the USA in the name of Oil, Burning, poisoning, raping... So these rouges decided to get some back, along with others with no cause whatsoever but to disrupt society then you go and blame countries that are not responsible, attack them, seize their recourses and then go about your business?!?!? The USA is not the knight in shining armour it has made itself out to be, it has disrupted the worlds progress and has hindered peace and diplomacy through either complete naive mistakes or well crafted conspiracies. The USA is also not the only country responsible for this type of behaviour, once again it is the human impulse of being greater than one another, that is to blame. With all the bombing, shooting, killing, maiming and pillaging that you and your attitude have donein history who could blame them from wanting to protect themselves. Either you disarm yourself, or let them be armed also. That is the only resolution. The USA has proved it is not responsible enough to hold absolute power, so the world has now lost its trust in her. This has been happening for decades and the country has been told many times but they simply will not listen. It is so simple, yet you are all so confused? You may consider Iran a threat, as they hold you by the balls with all the oil they have, but they see you as a consumer of what they have. The US government would have to be idiots to bomb Iran at this stage, it is totally against the very principals the Obama administration has been promoting and it would lose them the trust of those that voted for them. Iran would have to be stupid to bomb the UDA as they 'would' lose thier best customer. Pull you head in and have some respect for fucks sake, you seriously need a kick in the head if you think bombing Iran is a positive thing and should be educated on the pain and suffering your type of thinking is responsible for. You should be ashamed of yourself, and anyone else with the same line of thinking needs a ‘teach’n’ too. it seems to me you have not been flying on really steep mountains? All of my flights have been on parachutes, i was considering a speed flying wing as they are cheaper and seem to be able to be flown in a larger range of wind conditions. upon investigation and the dicovery that any riser input would not be a good idea, sent shivers down my spine. The thought of a frontal collapse while flying at close proximity to the ground shares the shit out of me. Also using only harness input and toggles flying a flat trimmed stiletto with twitch toggles does not appeal to me. I like to fly on my rears and dive with my fronts just like i do with my JVX, it may mean I have to choose only steeper mountains but that is my type of flying, it will take some years before skydivers and paragliders combine all technologies to make the perfect wing, that caters for everyones needs. The ability to print money without collateral was a significant move, the removal of the gold standard etc... The Federal Reserve was apparently established to eliminate the frequent fluctuations in the financial sector and regain ‘faith’ in the system from the population. The federal reserve is quite an intricate structure indeed, not many people understand how it works (including myself) entirely and such descriptions as; allow it to remain that way. These grey descriptions along with the human primal instinct to gain the power over others, coupled with corruption, will make the Federal Reserve System a magnet for power hungry, corrupt criminals. So I guess my answer to your question is; the Federal Reserve System was probably responsible for taking the USA out of the great depression. Although it worked to a great extent and allowed the USA to be a great country (American Dream etc.) for the majority of the 20th century, It may burden the long term viability of the United states of America as the corruption that has quite obviously commandeered the control of the majority of the worlds recourses, has control through the federal reserve system, the control of the energy recourses and the influence of the meek, voluntarily subdued population. Hey achieve this through the control of desire. This corruption is based on human nature and mans desire to be more accepted than his or her peers. There is no need for such a small percentage of the population to control the vast majority of the recourses, this situation and this situation alone is responsible for the vast majority of the problems the world faces today. World War 2 played a big part of it also of course, with such turmoil; it would have been easy for those that already had much power over others to 'steal' even more. There would have been many other solutions, but the federal reserve would have been fitting for those that were consistently losing their major investments through the lack of faith they had installed in their investors. The profit produced from production of weapons and defence systems would have been too big of an opportunity to miss as an investor, a war is a "Great market' for weapons companies and oil companies. Hi Stu, This is really interesting stuff. Thanks for your input. How much height do you lose in your 450? on what wingloading and what type of distance would you achieve in the end result, if you hit the gates at the best possible time? How many degrees dose he turn if he uses that type of technique? I do in fact use my front risers, but have avoided kinking them so much as to keep the form of the airfoil, there is definately a little slack in the risers when I am starting and I am in the turn. So I 'am' actually using the front risers and putiing considerable energy into them. I consistantly lose 900 feet in a 270 degree turn in practice, but my canopy is new and have some time to master that same turn to the ground level. When I feel ready for 450's I will experiement with them also, but my new canopy will take some time to really get the hang of... ...safely. Thanks for your input, I am really going to be concentrating on this over the next year or three and hope to see many of you people, in some upcoming camps and competitions over the next couple or few years! seems we are on the same page, thanks for the detaled description, i knew my new technique was working and how to do it, but the why part still remained a mystery. i am going to do some training camps over the next few months before (hopefully) competing at the australian nationals early next year, it will be interesting to see and hear the different techniques and descriptions of these type of things. thanks agang for you input. Hi Dave, As we all are constantly learning new techniques and results, I cannot realisticly describe the physicis involved, i was pulling the risers down and getting good swoops, I was also pushing them out with similar results. AVery experienced swooper gave me the advice to snap the rears into place, his word wen't somewhere along the lines of; "bro, you are doing good, try snapping your rears instead of milking thim into place..." I tried and after a few jumps i was adding at least 20m to my landings. Once the rears are in place, I do not move my hands at all (unless I am carving), and i am on rears for a substancial distance along the ground before transferring to toggles to finish it off. I am not saying that my technique is the best and I am no champion (yet), but kinking the risers and reducing thier length by half and only being on rears for a split second, seems like poor technique to me? I lose 900ft in a 270 and i do it slow, my front risers are not pulled they are guided through the turn and the result is a shitload of speed. ther are many ways to do an approach and I hope to find the perfect one, distorting the canopy by such great amounts does not seem to be a good idea to me. But hey, thats just me right? "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix
-
It surprises me how much you pull your front risers down, I have not jumped a velocity much, so can't compare, But i would think with my canopy (JVX79) that if i pulled my front risers anywhere near as much as you did in that video i would be increasing the parasitic drag, deforming my wing and therefore losing performance, speed and distance. I used to pull my rears and push my rears but have learned a new (to me) technique of snapping the rears into place ( the point where the canopy is trimmed as flat as possible without distorting the airfoil). at a point where it will surge me forward across the ground. I have gained much more distance since adopting this technique. speed i am not so sure of?!?!? "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix

Of course these new scientist hippies are wrong, who would ever think that the possession a tool that is designed to kill or injure would ever kill or injure something? and to think that they believe that taking the tool out of the equation would lessen the likelihood of the death or injury at all...
