this is true. as far as i am aware alcohol is an anti-coagulant so unless you are a haemophiliac, alcohol is good for the blood. If you have a diet that is high in cholesterol, alcohl can slow the development of atherosclerotic plaque. Most of us these days have diets high in cholesterol so therefore alcohol in moderation is good. back to the subject though. weed. It is funny how a large part of the American economy was origionaly established by the hemp industry. The first couple of presidents actually grew the stuff themselves. probably smoked it too. The influence of the powerful,adolescent oil industry eary last century, allowed the U.S. govornment to prohibit the use of any substance made from hemp, thus allowing the oil industry to take over the marklet of natural hemp fibres and replace them with the byproduct of producing petrolium... plastic. The amount of propoganda that was used was phenominal.(watch reefer madness) Hemp was eventualy written out of american history. not unlike WW2 was written out of japanese history. but thats another story. money is the reason hemp is illegal. and money is why it disrupts our societys these days. prohibition feeds the black market with billions of $$$ each year and inadvertently introduces the youth to harder drugs by exposing them to the black market. if we could grow cannabis without the threat of imprisonment then the demand would be less and we would have less crackhead kids and a far more productive society. but that makes too much sense really doesn't it? alcohol is not necessarily poison. a glass or two of red wine makes you health better and your life expectency longer. just like a toot on a pipe or even better a piece of cake made from cannabis stimulates the brain into thinking about your surroundings. and makes you aware of things you would have otherwise overlooked before. overuse of either is not good for you but in moderation it is all good. just like anything. cannabis is not a gateway drug that leads you to harder drugs, as was mentioned before, prohibition is the gate that leads our youth to these harder drugs, teenagers 'will' try drugs and alcohol. if they have to go to gangs and criminals as they do with prohibition. they will be exposed to, and pushed onto harder drugs. in new zealand weed can be up to $400 an oz on the black market. this is almost the same price as gold. when broken down into $50 bags it is worth more than gold. alchemy has always been considered the ultimate way to get rich. prohibition allows gangs and other criminals to sell a plant for more than gold. this is essentially alchemy. prohibition is the problem. my favorite exit from the C206 with roll up cargo door. when you have the customer hanging outside while you check your handles kinda face a little towards the rear/cameraflyer. when you leave push off with your right hand so when you leave you 'are' facing the rear and backloop as you leave into the relative wind. this looks cool on video is fun and gets you belly into the prop blast quickly. you will already be facing the cameralyer as you come down the hill. be 'aware' of the drogue handle as you leave though. dont let it rub out of the spandex or hang up on any protrusions from the old door mechanism. i think you'll find toyota hilux or nissan patrol or mitsubishi pajero(pajero means wanker in spanish) would be suitable in your conditions. they 'are' true 4wd. my mate hurls 2 sleds up snow covewred mud tracks with a hilux (a skidoo summit and a mx-rev)one on a trailer and one on the tray.modified suspention and 3.0 turbo diesel. 5litre petrol engines are grossly unessecary. and are purely a status symbol. if you want to cruise in style then a prado is the bomb.4wd u.s. cars are too big. do they really 'need' huge vehicles? agriculture is the primary industry in new zealand. most of the farmers here use Toyota Hilux Utililty vehicles. these have a 3litre turbo diesel engine. they go anywhere. if thats too small. use a tractor and if that is inapropriate use a truck. there is no need to haul a 4 ton truck around to pick up a couple of carcasses or check the fenceline. nissan and mitsubishi make similar products. when i see an american vehicle here it looks out of place to me. our infrastructure was not built for such behemoths. those chrysler crossfires look nice though what size/configuration engine do they have?they look quite small compared to most american cars. I voted rockclimbing and i do both. as mentioned earier skydiving in the beginning phase is more dangerious than when experience is gained. but climbing is vice versa. you begin with top roping. which is perfectly safe. then lead climbing, which has much more inherent danger if a mistake is made. my 2 cents "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix

I'm not a super experienced t/m but have all my tandems on icarus, except for the 1 set 400 jump when i did my proficiency test. i have had line twists twice on icarus both times were from uneven inflation. both times i just let the twist come out themselves. although the first time i was kicking like hell at first and nothing happened.until i just relaxed and they came out on thier own. both times the canopy was flying straight. stoked i didn't have to chop. which leads me to a concern, i was reading another post about subterminal tandem reserve 'snivels'. apparently they have been up to a 3 thounsand feet openings?!?! due to being designed to withstand tandem terminal openings? not much was mentioned to me about this during the process of getting my tandem rating. what is the 'hard deck' for chopping off linetwists? jftc is a gender specific event and has proven very useful giving experience to many woman skydivers and raising money for charity! everybody wins that takes part. so men cant perform. whoop de do. a 165 way would not be a new world record if men took part. the interest would be less and less money would be raised. so in this case a gender specific event is very useful indeed. wow i can't believe there are so many negative comments about an amazing event with incredibly generous motives. my partner is on JFTC and has spent endless hours, contacting people and running around fundraising. she has featured in many magazines and newspapers and on the national news. with follow up storys when she gets back. she raised more than the required amont and some participants have raised almost $8000. all this stuff is positive. Good one girls you all rock.

my beautiful patner leigh is currently on a plane to L.A. to take part in the world record attempt.
