i have recently been converted to next and vector tandem ratings. i love the next. it is tidy bugger all velcro and it looks like a sport rig. the harness is a bit funny though, i cant seem to get the top attachments so they are not loose. it seems to be designed so you can move the student forward after the drouge is deployed to make the pair more horizontal? i am wondering if it is legal to use a vector 2 harness on the next? ideally i would like to jump sigma but i dont call the shots on that one. anyone out there jump both vector2 and next? also i cant seem to get the secondary handle on the vector2 to sit nicely any suggestions would be much appreciated.

It is interesting how christians and other religons seem to judge others before themselves. I see christians trying to be holier than thou but then being violent and greedy at the same time. Most of the conflict on this planet is due to religon. Our planet and fellow beings are suffering at an alarming and increasing rate and it seems to be no concern to christians because they have the light at the end of the tunnel. We have lost things we didn't even know existed!?! Our world was not produced for humans as christians will beleive. I jump above Fiordland national/world heritage park here in beautiful New Zealand. Evidence for Darwins theory is abundant. It is a shame that we have lost most of the worlds ecology to the so called progress of mankind. we are actually accelerating our enevitable demise. The ecology of this planet has taken millions of years to develop and only a couple of thousand to destroy. Most of this has taken place in the last few hundred years. If as much focus had been made on conserving our fragile surroundings and haveing and understanding of how it came to be, rather than having plain old faith in the fact that GOD produced all this that we do not understand, just so we can thrash it for entertainment and self gain. Imagine how beautiful clean and happy your surroundings would be just now? I feel privilaeged to be surrounded by such untouched beauty, but i also know if this untouched beauty wasn't enormous mountains with shear valleys of rock then it would all have been destroyed long ago so some human (probably christan) could make money out of it. I think it really depeds on your history, me for example, i have mainly done outside video jumps. i mounted my camera on my gath to help my students. but what i found is that i instinctively stayed back and one got away on me and spun up big time. alot of people wear cameras on all jumps and just get what footage they get eg. performing freefly or 4way etc. and then i think it is not a problem. video is great for debrief(not only for the student but for the jumpmaster) and alot of the time the student cannot afford to have all jumps videod. and would rather pay for the extra jumps than a video. as long as it does not inhibit your effectiveness as an instructor then it is all good. outside camera is always going to be the best though. i did my real first ground launching today. after heaps of ground handling. i launched of the remarkables ski field access road(one of the sites on gravity pilots) fuck it was mint. the vertical of the slope is 900' so the swoop is over 1000' i did ten flights and warwick got 13. fuck it rules thats 10000' of swooping today. we were using a vengence170 i had a 1.0 wing loading on it and warwick had a 1.3 wingloading. we both had similar flights. G/L rules. including the cost of the rental car it cost us $2.50 a flight. and we got to thrash a brand new car up and down istead of walking.
