Sorry but Chrisky has it right. Without some form of reference you may "think" you know however I can show you videos of "experts" falling anything but straight down. Tracking? Then videos of experienced "divers" who "think" they are tracking. Until...... they have a reference point near to them such as a coach or space ball. Blues, J.E. James 4:8

Chuck, No the "I" in me is NOT coming out in the birdman. In fact I should send you the video the guys took of me on the first jump in the aircraft. "Hey J.E. were you a little nervous?" they asked. Higher wing loading equates to more speed. If your friend is unable to fly his Hornet completely through all flight configurations as Bill stated. Tell him NO. Why be shy with a friend? Learn to fly your canopy completley, then if you want to do it faster, down size. Blues, J.E. James 4:8
