Real funny. First injury this year in 12 years at the TSR. Broken wrist and black eye on the first day, now put a mountain in front of me..................... Blues, J.E. James 4:8

Well, I've said it all to you many times before. Mjosparky told you about the same thing. Brothers forever. But you will NEVER get me on a snowboard!!!!! Blues and Blessings, J.E. Hey, can you do something about skymamma "sicky-ing" up her posts for roomates? Talk about using the authority for personal reasons................. Old men never die, they just smell that way. Hey Prof. I'm going to go scatter a few photons for Winsor. Say Hi to Dave up there at SDC for me. Blues, J.E. James 4:8

Bill, Yes however, that is not a wind shear. I think we are on the same page now. Thanks. Blues, J.E. James 4:8

Boy, Becoming a Grandfather has made you a real "Suck Up"!!!! Blues to the man. Big "S" J.E. James 4:8 -
Bill, So can JW. Just read the following.... Taken from their web page. Any questions? Blues, J.E. James 4:8

The man or "head of the house" is responsible for all decisions. That means if my wife talks me into a bad situation it's still my fault. Now find fault with that. Welcome to the "real world". Blues, J.E. James 4:8

Shawn, As a "care giver" you must have seen God at work in some of your disabled patients. Are you educated in the medical field or sciences? Just a question. Blues, J.E. James 4:8

Amber, Then I must ask. Do you not care about them? If you believe in God then you know what He requires. If the love is true then Smiles can lead by example and love him away from the JW program. Blues, J.E. James 4:8

Smiles, Send me a PM and I'll send you a book to help. Regardless of what anyone states, they may be a religion however, religion has nothing to do with God. They are a cult and it is easy to expose. Blues, J.E. James 4:8

Bill, You and BBkid need to read a little. I have a full leather bound Koran. Please show me in the Bible where it calls for the "Crusades" to occur. Please show me where it calls for the "Army of God" to be formed. After you do so I'll send you a few passages from the books in the Koran. There is a big difference between "Religion" and God. The Old Testament tells of many battles of good against evil, the New Testament tells of "Love" as the greatest command. Try reading the Bible, then the Koran and you decide. It's called free will and free choice. Post away, I'll keep you in my prayers. Blues, J.E. James 4:8

Same "sort" of sources? Or just "Some" sort of sources? Got to love it! Blues, J.E. James 4:8

Chuckie, You lie you lie, You NEVER get up in the morning!!!!! Hey PM on the way. Blues, J.E. James 4:8 -
65, I just put them on both of my rigs. I do not like the slider down around my face or behind my head. I have never been comfortable with the chance of the slider popping up and obscuring my vision. My old Pitt suit still has the velcro slider stow however, I simply collapse the slider and leave it above my toggles. Regular inspection and maintenance prevents problems with the grommets. If you have suggestions or better ideas please let me know through a PM. Blues, J.E. James 4:8

"WinDsor", And you too Bill. Winsor, Everything you state is correct however, Scalars, Vectors, and velocity aside. Your statements come almost directly from wind shear training programs and are correct. That is the reason for increased power commands upon rapid performance increase on approach/final. All this is based upon relative wind and effective wind in relation to the airfoil i.e. canopy. Again, going from a 20 kts tailwind and turning into a 20 kts headwind your canopy will not see an increase in airspeed nor ground speed. Your airspeed will remain constant and ground speed will be reduced, UNLESS the velcity and vector changes suddenly. Correct Winsor & Bill? What's the value of V^2/c^?. Absoutly nothing to me at this moment.......... I'm sitting at my computer! Blues, J.E. James 4:8

helpand answers needed immediately, with 'almost new' gear...
sducoach replied to Kuper's topic in Gear and Rigging
Easy answer to your concerns. FAR 105.43.a The main parachute must have been packed within 120 days before the date of its use by a certificated parachute rigger, the person making the next jump with that parachute, or a non-certificated person under the direct supervision of a certificated parachute rigger So, unless you know that the main was packed by a rigger or under his/her direct supervision, you are required to repack it. Blues, J.E. James 4:8 -
Bill, This part is what's confusing. Please explain the relationship to the 20 kts groundspeed and a faster airspeed? Blues, J.E. James 4:8

Hook, FAR 105.21.a states that a certificate of authorization must be issued. i.e. 7711. AC # 91-45C.2 states the clearance from spectators and the requirement for the "exhibition rating". AC # 105-2C.15.A.1 and .2 Our FISDO requires Pro along with TSA's approval. Pretty simple. Take that chip off you shoulder you old buzzard before I come out there and give you a big wet kiss!!! Ski season is coming!!!! Blues, J.E. James 4:8 -
Jumpwally, I have owned and jumped all three. I still jump a Stiletto and a Spectre however, my question is "what are you looking for?". Contact Kolla at PD for detailed information concerning flight characteristics of each canopy then decide which most fits your needs and experience level. I use both for different reasons so pick the best "tool" for the job. Best and blues to you, J.E. James 4:8

Hook, Not unless it's brand new. This does sound like a "Pro rated demo" if it was on top of a parking garage. Blues, J.E. James 4:8 -
No, but I bet he was from Oklahoma!!!!!! Two pilots from P-Air are flying into Chicago. Weather is lousy. They are having all kinds of trouble on the approach. Finally the co-pilot shouts, "There's the runway!". The captain pulls back the power, drops all the flap and spoilers, slams onto the runway, locks up the brakes and stops with the nose will in the dirt. The captain looks at the co-pilot and says "Man, thats a short runway!". Yeah, says the co-pilot, but it's REALLY REALLY WIDE!!!!!! Blues, J.E. James 4:8
