Treejumps

Hello computer peeps. I'm trying to clean up my Mom's computer. The grandkids have downloaded so much crap (games, messengers, spyware, etc) that her computer is at a crawl. At startup, at least 15 different program start and show up in the tray. I can't seem to find the startup file to delete all the un-needed programs. I find lots of files called startup, but none seem to be the correct ones. Thanks for your help.

It is possible, and has been done a couple times at Bridge Day. You really should not do that out of a plane though. To much airspeed, and will likely hurt, and possibly damage your canopy. A camera has been packed into canopies before, so if you are looking to get that angle, it is possible. Simply mount (tie) the camera one at a line attachement point above the slider. The canopy will open fine, and if you attachedd the camera well, it will survive and get the shot. Good luck.

AHhhh, the old PC debate returns to the forums Via Winkleport. You really must listen to yourself more often if that is the dumbest thing you have ever heard. Since the thread and debate has been had before, I'll just let anyone who is (still) interested go back and read the thread. As I recall though, the genreal concensus was that whatever you said was right, and everyone else was wrong, reality not withstanding. 2 things we know for sure. 1. A PC works on the priciple of lift. 2. A PC will inflate using f-111 in place of the mesh. (how does that air get scooped up into the pc if there are no holes?

Hey brick, I'm 250, and have 1000+ jumps on each of two sets of mini risers with slinks. they won't break. Mini links will also hold up fine if you put them on correctly. There is no reason to be scared of slinks or mini links because of your size, IF they are installed properly.

I hate to see anyone get hurt, especially on that cliff. Its a nasty one to bounce off of, and pretty difficult to get rescue too. I actually considered doing slider ups off of that, but never did. A 3 second delay would get you a lot further away from the wall, but any slider hang up would be ugly as the talus extends out a long way. Also, after a recent Perrine trip I noticed that my old Fox has a much more noticable snivel (on 3 sec delays) than it did 5 years ago. That little difference is all it would take to buy some rocks at SL. Heal fast. I hope he didn't land on a barrel cactus.

Hello anonymous nobody, You've twice posted some smack that nobody knows what sent poor JT into the drink. Its funny that the unusually loud, arrogant, and smart alec JT has not put anything about his close brush with death. Two very experienced jumpers have posted their first hand account of what they actually saw. No one has any reason to doubt them, as they have very good credentials. You have no name, no credentials, and offer no explanations. Therefore, you have no voice, and add nothing to the discussion. It can only be complacency, or stupidity. No one with a brain hums it into the water wearing a camera on purpose. BTW, did the camera surrvive?

I really don't care that there is BET. However, BET is a big part of the problem the black community has with not being upwardly mobile. BET sells the ideas that are central to the social problems of the black community. Bling bling, keep it real, $1,000 spinning rims, smack yo' bitch, pimps and hos, gangsta this and that, 40's. Where are the shows on BET that display an average middle class black family who speaks good English, their kids getting straight As and planning for college, and otherwise being completely ordinary people? There are none. It doesn't sell and BET is self admittedly not striving for social change. Bill Cosby is one of the few willing to tell it like it is. But just like there are special interests that maintain the staus quo in Congress, the same is true for the social enviroment of the overall black community. Until Jesse J, Sharpton, and their ilk quit inciting racial tensions for profit, nothing is going to change.

Can anyone please reccomend their favorite 2 needle machine. A dedicated binding tape setup is what I am shooting for. So many machines available, but which ones work well? Thanks

Lose the stickers. The can only hurt your efforts. There are severl areas and objects where having stickers is an open invitation to get busted. Besides, other than the cops, who do you think cares about your hobby? Also, there are precious few towers that can be day blazed. At night it is nearly impossible to see climbers on a tower. By day it is hard to miss them if you glance at a tower. Glad you got away. In all likelihood the cops came out on another call and you just happened to be there. If it happens again go ahead and jump. You will get the same charge anyhow, so you might as well get a jump in.

Take a taxi into town. Tell them that you want to go to the ferr that goes to Kjewrag. It helps to tell them you are a jumper. Then, walk a few blocks and find a hotel, or a bar, whichever you prefer to spend the night in. Get up early and shop for beer and food, as the campground is very expensive. take at least a case per day of jumping. Then, catch the early ferry to Kjerag. It about 4-1/2 hours, and a great trip. Have fun.
