No. Your faith is consistent and has stood the test of time. The history behind the backdrop of our lives is dramatically contrasted, yet there is still a strong sense of brotherhood between us. I would say that our main difference (as discussed a few years back) is in how we see the role of government in our faith, or vice versa - but that disagreement has virtually no bearing on my faith, because interestingly enough, I've been given the ability to separate the two. Now, having said all that - you know how weak my faith has become given my current bitter circumstance, but it's the faith of people like you on which I reflect when I feel like giving up. FIFY Growing up in a culturally diverse city with a history of emotionally charged racial issues, we found humor as a positive outlet to address our differences without ignoring them. In retrospect, it's as if laughing at ourselves belittled the power behind racism that had divided us for so long. I think people like Chris Rock understand that - which is why he's been so successful, especially in diffusing a variety of emotionally charged issues through humor - most recently, the academy awards. When real Republicans actually come out and vote, Trump loses.
