i suppose its hard for me to say, b/c I have no kids, but im a firm belive in bust that ass. I just see too many children, mostly out in public... who get the whole "time out" thing and they are monsters. Until they can comprehend how their actions will affect their future... corporal punishment is a great deturrent, for the sole reason that they dont forget that... but they may forget about not having tv... Ever thought about quitting b/c of an injury?

its interesting all the responeses out there. even the 7 who thing they are invincible. but hey... I made 3 jumps at Rantoul on a broken ankle... I was back in the air 2 months after a total shoulder rebuild ( not metal parts or screws) but it still hurts if I aint careful. and I have talked to more who have jumped w/ casts, sprains, and other injuries. im hopin that I can manage a jump in a couple of weeks cus if I go more than a few weeks and go back to school.... im gonna be a pissed-off and grumpy dude! Except for the fact that it is illegal. Well, lets not overstate the obvious here. I believe that the appropriate smart-ass remark is "Thank you captin obvious" but really... why is it such a debate... if it doesnt affect our or our families' saftey and well-being what the hell does it matter? yes I know that you can trace too many things back to its roots, eg. organized crime, poverty, whatever... any REAL topic... and REAL interest can be traced back and broken down in to its simplest components, and it always comes back to who is it really hurting? hell, we could debate a goat on the back of a guy riding a bicycle and end up with the same common denominator. no really it happened here. but maybe im just talking out of my arse! cheers!
