If ive had enough to drink: I can sleep anywhere, anytime. the rest of the time. I cant stand light, even slight moon light, I like it to be pitch black. I prefer it to be cold so I can pile on the covers, a fast moving celing fan works ok. Music, no particular kind, just no country, and no rap, hip-hop, etc. Mostly I listen to trancy, acid-jazzy stuff. Dont breathe on me, or youll sleep alone. Precisely my point. Men and women are doing more today than they ever have to appear more attractive to the opposite sex. Not that I claim it to be a good thing, or approve of the sources that "tell" us what attractive is. that is a whole other conversation. And I do think it possible to have in intimate relationship with someone you think is not physically attractive. while ive never had it, I'd like to think that the majority of us look past the surface to see the inner person, which in its own way, can be very attractive. me personally, I love wakin up next to a hottie, but like you, if theres no chemestry, its not gonna work out. Attitudes towards sex changed to a liberal stand back in the 60s. I don't see things being any more liberal now than they were ten years ago. true but there was one major thing that happend between then and now that changed it. HIV. It really put a stop to open and "casual" sex. Not that it didnt happen, but really slowed it down. Peoples views changed. The reason I belive what I do now is: Look at the sex industry- porn, toys, outfits, and accessories. Not only is it out in the open more than it was 10, or even 5 years ago, its still growing. Look at TV-what our culture sees as acceptable is definitely more open thatn 10 years ago. Appearance-with the creation of the "metro" male, and manscaping the male side of society has seen a surge in desire to be very well groomed, not just a decent haircut. Women too seem to going a bit further. Also, both sexes seem to be more open to discussion of appearance. I realize some of this may be a bit superficial, but lest face it. Why would you want to have an intimate relationship with someone you werent attracted to? sorry CK, I think I hijacked your thread! Attitudes towards sex have become more liberal, however, there is evidence that attitudes will soon be shifting back to more conservative. You think so? as I see it the attitudes are consistetly shifting towards a more liberal stand. Who the hell gets ten whole days of vacation a year on a job??? WHO?? WHERE??? I did at my last job because the position was shweet, baby...but before that I never had more than 5 days off a year to start with. Uh, except in the Army. I get 11 day of vacation my first year. an additional week after 5 (i think) and up to 4 after 10 years (again I think) I work mon-fri 8am - 5pm. on the nose. Im walking out the door at 5pm. thats if Im in the office. while on the road. my co pays for everything. I only need recipts for meals over $25. I love being on the road cuz I means I get to bullshit with people and play with heavy equpment. there are jobs that are mean for you out there.
