So a few of us are gettin together tonite, and Im gonna whip up some eats. Were torn on what to have. Im pretty good in the kitchen, but dont want anything so complicated I cooking all evening. Some of my specialties: Chicken enchaladas w/ beans and fresh salsa Pork loin chops marinated in a galic/sundried-tomato/basil sause w/ saffron rice and green beans with bacon Jerk chicken w/ grilled veggies and baked potato Home made pizza (I cheat a little and used a dough mix, and store bought sauce) any ideas? I have friends in OKC and Tulsa, they pretty much spend their weekend as SDD. I used to call it home when I was in Arkansas. It has a huge draw. Its an awsome operation, but for a low number jumper's first time there, it can be intimidating. I havent jumped at Cushing but once, but the DZO was my AFF instructor years ago. He's awsome. I know a buch of the FF crew from SDD will be there this weekend, and Mullins has been know to show up there at least once. IMHO. Dont move to Oklahoma for skydiving unless you want to drive a lot. If you do let me know I'll put you in contact with some peeps there! good luck! 1. Guns-quick but can be messy and clean up is a biotch. Plus you may ruin the meat. 2. Dogs-I just love a good chase! Plus no need to feed the dogs! 3. Round up chickens in yard, and take to butcher. its just easier than butchering yourself. 4. Buy beer, call all your skydiving buddies, and have a hella loud BBQ, and cook everything that walks on your property.
