I'd be curious what kind of car that is! When I'm playing geo-scribe on drilling projects in the dead of winter or heat of summer, I'll routinely idle my truck (gas engine) for 5-6 hours per day. I've never noticed a significant change in my miles per tank as a result, much less seen the needle move over the course of a day. Blues, Dave agreed on that one. Back when I was racing I would routinely have my truck (tow vehicle) with a large gas engine run almost all day for different reasons with no noticable change in the fuel level. just fyi: an 8.4 liter 300hp diesel engine burns approx .6 gal/hr at idle with the a/c running. Its a tough pill to swallow when your ortho surgeon tells you he doesnt know if you'll ever walk right again, much less run. If anyone wants details, how "current" I was, etc. pm me. Im happy to tell my story, if only one person listens and it saves them thats great. I learned my lesson. I listen to my peers, I seek advice from more advanced pilots, and think about how many people think that "they'll be fine". A few of us had this conversation last night. All were more advanced than me, and some of them are getting tired of repeatedly telling folks how it is, and them not listening, and then those people get hurt or die. My advice: listen to those around you because if you dont its not a matter of "if" you'll become a statistic, its a matter of "when". Im tired of seeing my friends get hurt, and Ive only been in the sport for 5 years. you sure you are alive? i got 78 52 BPM. A lower resting heart rate is healthier than a higher one. avg adult is 60-90 BPM. and it depends how much as rest one is of course. 50's is just pretty low it seems. it's pretty save to count for 10 sec and multiply by 6 how fast should I count? oh, and if you can count your pulse and 10 seconds simutaneously, you should be something other than a post whore! Hottie has a 94 del sol. I dont think you could convince her to part with it for waaayy more than its worth. that thing must have been beat to hell, cuz hers has over 230,000 miles on it, and all weve ever done is wearable items. brakes, belts, hoses, and one clutch. the roof leaks sometimes, the pain has faded on the roof, and it burns out the left headlight a little fast, but hey, i just fixed the A/C, it dont smoke and it dont use any oil. good luck, theyre good cars. My time in Australia I really didnt see a great recipie that was strictly Austrailian.
