Under a non-crossed braced canopy I used both approaches depending on traffic, altitude, etc. I preferred the braked approach b/c it allowed for a slower turn rate, more like a carve. That also allowed for a more constant rate, and from what Im learning consitancy is key. I feel that a full flight approach under that canopy provided more speed for dive time. I dont necessarily belive that either approach provided a longer run or more powerful rollout. I'll have to let ya know what I think about a cross-braced after the next 1000 jumps or so. Balance is key. But for each person that balance is different. Much of what I do centers around skydiving. Friends, activities etc. But I also make time for my home, career, and most importantly my wife. You have to find your own. Good luck. Talked to the DZO today, everything is set. Also talked to some peeps, some of which are showing up at the DZ on Friday to be ready and others are driving in from long distances and staying in town to make the trip earlier. We'll be there by 7am ready for wheels up by 8, maybe earlier if we can be ready. Oh, and ive got me a nice little new toy to play with for a bit of the day too!
