    I lost my wedding ring in freefall just months after I got married. so I bought a new one. Im around equipment all the time plus the skydiving thing, so I dont even wear a ring anymore unless its a special occasion. too many ways to loos a finger.     Sweet dirty sanchez bunghole man! I need a freakin night off here. How am I supposed to clean house so that when my Mom shows up on Friday I dont look like I live like a heathen?!     I'll say that. To each his own. I used to be a die hard Mirage owner. Ive got lots of friends jumping them. I've got about 700 jumps on my container now, and it's been a good one. I like the looks, construction, comfort, and features/options. I am in the market for a new container, BUT as of late I am thinking I'll have a much harder look at other manufacturers. sometimes enough little things can sway you toward or away from your purchase.     Ive got around 650 jumps on a Nitro 120 and havent noticed anthing like that. My first line set I did have to extend the brake lines about 6" to get the tail flutter out of it when I did my front riser turns. I'll have to try it on my next jump though. Im interested to see if I can repeat the a similar reaction on a different size wing. What are you loading yours at? But truthfully, I dont use the toggles much for anything other than holding in brakes and flairing. the rest is mostly harness and front risers.     not really, because he is doing it the right way with supervision. and he listens to what his mentor is telling him. actually in the beginning many jumps ago. I WAS that guy. I did get told to listen, and failed to do so. and then I hurt myself. from that I learned a lot. I found a friend that has a lot of good advice and a lot of experience to back it up. Now I listen very closely to what he has to say. And I do my best to respect the wing thats above my head.     my .02. I have around 600 jumps on an elliptical loaded at 1.8. Some braked approaches, some straight in. many MANY 270s, even a couple 360s. typically the only time I had to run out landings was on no wind days or downwinding. Ive got about 20 jumps on a velo loaded at 2.1 so I am by no means an expert, but that thing flies awsome in brakes and full flight. I had a straight in approach last weekend and landed and only had to take a step or two with absolutely no wind. If your running it out, have a more advanced pilot check out how you flare, you might be able to better use a touch of power just a tad earlier to help those ones your have to run out.     nope got another engagement to go to this evening. If you want the hippie at your function, you gotta book in advance! back on thread track. Ive just lost the desire to go to a movie in public. Every damn time I go and spend $10-12 on a ticket, 15$ on a coke, find a seat right in front of someone who wants to narrate the movie for everyone, two rows in front of a screaming baby and 5 rows behind the jackass that wont turn his constantly ringing cell phone off. I'll wait for it to come out on DVD, then I can drink beer and stick my hand down my pants if I want to. So dont go spoiling it for me!     its all about the marketing! If a company with enough $ flooded the market with promises of a great big steaming pile of dog flop, had the right "spin" on the presentation, and did it with a frequency that made a buzz start about it. the herds would gather and go see it. for example i submit: the random billboards going up around Atlanta that began with. "I pooted", "My Boogers itch", etc. People were talking about them, now they have cartoon network stuff on them. I'll bet you that shows ratings have gone through the roof.
