Just got off the phone with the adjusters supervisor. he told me that there was no way he could adjust his settlement to that figure. Even if I had another offer and other factors that are involved. He told me I might as well take my deductable from him, and accept the claim from the my company and let it go to subrogation and probably mediation. Oh well. I had AAA through and AAA agent. The were freaking awsome. I had Farmers a while back, those cocksuckers are worse than the nationwide fuckers. Dropped me because I had two thefts. Not to mention that dropped me with only one month to shop for another policy (home owners) I had some friends that had Farm Bureau. Told me to stay away. Said they were the best until you had a claim, then they didnt know you. I had really good luck with State Farm, I was the claimant on another insureds policy after an accident w/ bodily injury. Explained everything, and even encouraged me to get an atty to confim what they were saying. I dont know from an insureds point of view. Ive had some decent dealings with insurance companys. Even one that involved bodily injury that resulted in me undergoing surgery. My insurance comapany has been somewhat helpful, and I can always complete my claim with them. The question there being: how does that affect my rates in the future? that is an answer only an underwriter and respond, and until all is said and done, it would be tough for them to say. At least I've been told this. The adjust from Nationwide refused to give me his supervisors name or number. Only would ask him to call me. My Patients wears thin with these people. well I though the white was the way to go, and voted so. but now that youve exclaimed that "horny boys" dont count I shall post! I would go with the white because it presents you with a 'pop'. White is an eye catcher, not to mention many of the underlying meanings associated with white purity, goodness, etc. I cant swing, but love to watch those that are skilled. Much of that is presentation and focus. The white dress, IMHO, would help you with your presentation, and cause others to focus on you. so there! Oh, and the white one is hot too! Thinks Id make sure you have on your new cam: Sony. Firewire port LANC port MiniDV Ive got a PC105, but they dont make them anymore. The above criteria would keep you happy and have enough stuff to swap vids etc. Oh, and make sure you can get a box for it! If you have this, I hope and pray you never have a claim with them. i have been in a few wreck in my life, none of which are my fault. Ive always delt with them one-on-one, even with an injury in one instance. Nationwide, is NOT, on your side! They dont return phone calls, they just cancelled my rental without consulting me, theyve told one party the the claim has been settled and it has NOT. Yesterday, i was basically given an ultimatum, take this offer or you get squat. Im going to try and negotiate today, but my only other alternative would be a legal course, further dragging out the process, something I can afford. Words cannot express my anger at this particular company. I dont thint that my Velo opens any less predictably than my 120 Nitro did, maybe a little more likely to have a brisk opening, but nothing like my 170 Sabre 1. In fact, sub-terminal openings are beautifil on my Velo. "Some people"..."only straight in approaches" This is something you'd have to ask "those people". There has been plenty of debate over the why jump a x-brace if youre not swooping. Higher cost, less forgiving for mistakes, etc, doesnt really outweight the 'cool' factor. Or maybe, those people really do love those canopies and how they fly, they just dont want to swoop. IMHO, theyre wasting potential, and $$ there, but its their call, and thats what is importatant in this sport. is doing something you love with your friends, AS LONG AS its safe to you and to others. Im with Weege here. I dont work at the DZ, but when Im there Im going full tilt. Also, Im not a coach, but often times jump with those that as for my help. Plus I almost always wear my camera. so at the end of the day I'll firewire it to ya, if you have it, or if you can find someone that will burn you a dvd w/ my camera thats cool too. But I dont have a linear set-up, so I wont be burnin you a DVD. I picked up quite a few wood pieces on my last trip to Oz. Sure you can wander through a few shops and find something. I'd suggest the markets at Freemantle, theres always some crafty neat stuff there. Oh, and a side note, my wife and I were married the exact same day as you and yours. its our 5th anno on 24 dec also. Kings Park, 2001.
